Pie'oh'Pah Posted March 8, 2014 Hello All I obtained a second Cereus Monstrose from 'madhouse visits' (thanks again). This was to replace one demolished by my 7kg Dachshund. Now my dog is tiny the spines are massive and the main parts that he eats are the areolas. So now he has taken a liking to my new one but he has access to so many other varieties of cactus why does he keep selecting these? I know the solution is to move the plant, but why does he only select this variety? Stupid Topic perhaps. Thanks all.
Quixote Posted March 8, 2014 Maybe the areoles remind him of the teats of the bitch by which he suckled
