TrailBlazer Posted March 29, 2013 Hey mates Is there a way to resize a image thats hot linked from another website thats included in the post using the tags. Eg I would like to make thumbnails of some of the malph images in the thread I started. But members when clicking the thumbnails should be able to see the proper sized photo. whitewind Posted March 29, 2013 If you upload the images to the gallery, you get thumbnails in your post that link to the larger pic. Torsten prefers members to do this than to using external sites like photobucket where the images may get removed over time. However, there may be copyright issues with using content from elsewhere. Using external images may also make the information disappear over time (if it gets moved or removed). Best to use members only images where possible, ask them to upload to the gallery. TrailBlazer Posted March 29, 2013 Yeah I would prefer to do that, I will need to check the copyright and use rights of some of the Malpighiaceae images I want to include hey.
