Paradoxical Posted November 13, 2012 Hi guys, I am looking for a native psychotria (such as loniceroides) plant, so that I can have a go at grafting etc. If anyone has a spare lying around or is able to take a cutting for me that would be much appreciated. I dont have any coin, but I have things like seeds to trade. Cheers, P
2Deep2Handle Posted November 14, 2012 got access to loniceroides and daphinoides at my local botanic gardens. Curators have already agreed to let me take cuttings. Can probably get other australian natives too. Will see how i go this saturday
planthelper Posted November 15, 2012 is that the one? it was given to me, and i'm not sure how to probagate it, but would try leaf cutting, and 3 or 4 node cuttings. i love this plant as it shows you how some plants in australia envolved into more, small forms, with tiny flowers and leaves. compare above image to a psychotria viridis or a coffe plant, and notice the difference. above plant is, a bit a natural bonsai, it would fit nicely into a minimundus world.
