I don't have the best eye for identifying plants yet but this has me completely confused as I recognise particular elements but it seems like a mish-mash of many things. That said; probably something very common, I'd just like to know if anyone could help. I planted one of the seeds a month or two ago at home but nothing came of it.

That is 99% not an Acacia. Look at the leaf in the 4th photo, how it's got that huge fat vein right down the middle. As far as I know, no acacias (at least of the desired disposition) have phyllodes or leaves like that.

But what it actually is... No idea hehehe.

What are those pod things in the 5th photo? If they are seedpods, then I don't think it is a Ceratonia (which seems to have Acacia style seed pods). But I do think it's in the Rosids (narrows down to about 70,000 plants :D).
