psifactor Posted November 27, 2010 I've had a P. Alba plant growing for some months in an outdoor greenhouse, It became dormant for about a month and now is sending out new shoots from the base which appear to be growing fairly fast. Recently a little Psychotria Viridis seedling has been added to my collection, but it appears to be doing the dormant action (much like the alba, or perhaps its just growing slowly) has anyone had any experiences with P. Viridis adapting to lower humidity, like what happened with the P. Alba?
planthelper Posted November 29, 2010 i think alba and viridis and the rest, they all go dormant in the same way, in colder climats. the only difference is that alba might look a bit less stressed out than the viridis. it could look like this: psychotria carthagenensis 5mm dark edges (necrosis) psychotria viridis 10mm dark edges (necrosis) so not realy much difference.
