mutant Posted July 28, 2009 "BBC's Planet earth" must be one of the most amazing documentaries ever made, as it's got some of the most up-to-date filming techniques resulting in a spectacular sight. As always with BBC natural history docu's , the texts are great and narration is by David Attenborough. I recommend people taking pleasure in watching natural history documentaries to mark this as a must see and go for it. But for cacti friends, the "Deserts" episode has some great reference and shots regarding cacti. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0795176/episodes

mutant Posted July 28, 2009 Yeah it's great to see cacti play the role in the food/water chain, but it's the bit with saguaro I think, which is even more impressive, at least as far as impressive images are concerned... as it includes awesome shots of the saguaro giants before and after a heavy rain! plus, very important, this is BBC HighDefinition [HD] , it's really worth it to see this in good resolution. Trust me on this one. The images are unique, not only this episode... the whole docu
