Hedonix are Rob and Steve, two discordian popes hailing from Sydney, Australia. They have been producing music together since 2001 and have had releases on Electric Power Pole Records (Australia) and Cosmic Conspiracy Records (New Zealand). The music which Hedonix produce is a direct reflection on their personalities in that it is funky, quirky and fun. They tend not to limit themselves to any particular genre of psychedelic trance but set out to combine the best elements of all the styles and other electronic music genres while making sure to keep each track groovy, twisted and full of surpises.

Hedonix are conduits of what Robert Anton Wilson christened the head revolution: Hedonic Engineering And Development. Anyone who learns how to push his or her own buttons, debug old and obsolete programs, re-program and meta-program his or her own imprinted and conditioned circuitry, can then make a quantam jump in neural efficiency. Higher intelligence, greater emotional equilibrium, acceleration of change and growth, intensification of experienced time, are just some of the ammusing and instructive programs possible. We can all learn to use our brains for fun and profit. in that case, we can all become members of the illuminati - self programmers, co-creators of our own reality.

Sunrunner was born from a blazing ray of sunshine that burst through a legion of puffy white clouds one afternoon in November. Starting out as a small ball of light, Sunrunner eventually became more of a consciousness and acquired some technology to start working on music. After many nights of producing random blips and beeps, things started to sound a little less like a computer shorting out and more like a piece of electronic music.

Progressive music with a psychedelic and sunny edge, combining trippy sounds, emotive melodies and lush pads, Sunrunner's sound is reminiscent of the Australian bush and outback on a psychedelic afternoon. Those that saw him rip up the mainstage at the recent Dragon Dreaming Festival know what to expect - Lush melodys, powerful bass, intelligent structures, a stomping dancefloor and a massive smile. We're proud to have Dwight back in canberra again for all the beautiful things.

Satori - Outback Alliance Productions

Satori is Wollongong born Rory Robinson living in Sydney, Australia.

After years of dj'ing at parties around sydney and melbourne the SATORI project was born.

Focus is on diversity, aimed at the night time, psychedelic music to waken your senses.

Jaytech (Arjuna Deep, Vapour Recs)

These are changing times... Eschewing the flat, linear sounds of minimal and dispensing with the sugary chords of saccharine trance, the young electronic stars of 2008 are creating a new middle ground. One such talent is Jaytech, aka James Cayzer, who at 22 has carved himself an enviable reputation as a supremely credible producer, DJ, and live talent. ‘Everything Is OK’ is his debut artist album.

Hailing from Canberra, Australia, Jaytech released his first production at the age of 14; ‘Music 101’ was a precocious start and achieved worldwide recognition. Though his exams were deemed the main priority by his parents, he spent his daytime hours on both his studies and his classical training (as a pianist), while at night, holed up in his bedroom, he perfected his programming skills.

Hard work and an early start has certainly paid off, with a discography that runs into double figures and includes notable releases such as “Genesis”, which won widespread support from everyone from Desyn Masiello to Tiesto - who included it on his In Search Of Sunrise compilation - and “Pepe’s Garden”, which similarly found favour with Sasha, Armin Van Buuren and everyone in between. Now with his academic studies behind him and with a debut album under his belt, Jaytech’s entering the next stage of an extremely promising career.

C.L.I.Mate (LIVE/DJ)

Another stand-out act from Dragon Dreaming, the boys from Canberras local C.L.I.Mate smashed it with a massive jam session including live electronica, DJing and a horde of local musicians. These boys have huge potential and we look forward to watching some of the cream of local talent do their thing now and into the future
