0 amen-ra Posted August 16, 2007 Vielen dank EG should i root it in lime or potting mix? the cutting i have is only small about 1cm thanks
0 Evil Genius Posted August 16, 2007 Oh, thats very small. With a cutting of that small size i´d say that a graft is better. Small cuttings sometimes suddenly die and therefore you should give him a good basis to grow on. Just graft on Pereskiopsis, Trichocereus, Hylocereus or something similar. I place large cuttings on top of the cactus soil and check sometimes to make sure that there are no infections on the base. bye Eg
