worowa Posted June 18, 2007 I'm considering getting some sort of air purifier to minimise contamination in my mycology lab (lounge room). I don't think I want an ozone generator-too many free-radicals. Ionisers sound good, and they supposedly have health benefits. Have you used one? How did it make you feel? John Smith Posted June 18, 2007 I can't answer the question and have often wondered myself. I recall reading that they don't do anything positive healthwise, however, I have also read that pine needles are one of the largest natural source of negative ions. On several occasions when I have spent at least a few hours in a pine foorrest I have quite felt refreshed afterwards. Maybe just my imagination..who knows.
