twich Posted July 26, 2006 Anyone who ID's this wins a prize. It's more or less a pretty weed that popped up in a pot from the markets. It is almost certainly somehow related to Lobelia (but not a Lobelia species). The front flower is 2.3 cm across and the seeds are tiny, black and numerous. I'm thinking about letting it go feral in my mum's flower garden. And NO it's not a Convolvus! Blueflowers.bmp Blueflowers.bmp Blueflowers.bmp
shiner Posted July 28, 2006 I believe it may be some type of violet; genus Viola. The species I cannot identify without a native location.
