Guest Mexicali Posted July 1, 2006 These are some damaged lophophoras i have at home. At least half a dozen of them have this problem.Has anyone seen it before or have any ideas as to what it could be? This appears to be damage from cold weather. Stop watering and place in warm environment day and night. It should stop progressing. it's happened to some of my plants too...the ones that were damaged have been chopped off the root and the roots are now developing new pups (it's taken 1.5 years, but they eventually shot pups . Sad to see the damage, but I'm sure that if you keep her warm and dry, it should stop progressing
Gollum Posted July 1, 2006 Thanks Mex. I suspected that cold could have been the culprit. Thanks for confirming. Hope the damage grows out eventually.
