While I have been traveling these past 2 years due to work, I have decided I want to grow something different. A lot of people don't want to know about these plants, particularly due to stock losses in the past/present and it's use for animal baiting/pest control.

The genus Oxylobium was combined with Gastrolobiums and some renamed. These plants contain Sodium Fluoroacetate (1080). I believe there are 112 species and most are native to WA except about 3 which range from SA/NT to QLD? It's hard finding information, it's really an area that isn't really well published, but hopefully that will change in the future.

I have 1 species growing (G. spinosum - prickly poison) and I have seed on the way for a few more species.

Are there any WA folk here who also enjoy growing this Genus of plants or anyone interstate who might want some seed?
