Hello, Just wondering if any sabbers out there celebrate the day in any meaningful or joyous way? Apart from spring plantings that you would undertake to hug the longest night of the year, does anybody else here make offerings/effigies? Per chance build a bonfire, dress up as animals, undertake rituals, burn off bad luck, ask for deity intervention in their crops, dance nude by the moon(yay) etc. I like to twine up effigies or dolls of those people i want to do better by me in the following year. I make them, then chant my own chant as i throw them in the fire and ask for a bumper spring to grow my summer crops. So what do you people reckon(apart from do not get on my wickerman list -hehe)? Everybody would have their spin on this -if you observe the turnings of our sun, moon and planets and i'm totally keen to hear any ritualistic or fun shenanigans that you and your kin might get up to. l&l eth p.s and a small shout out and RIP to my favourite hammer movie actor of ALL time( maz) that passed away just recently Christopher Lee http://www.hammerfilms.com/
