    steve irwin activists is my guess. outside of that its a bit excessive. reminds me of the time those kids beat up a sickly roo. fugded up. its on the list of reasons i dont watch TV.

    stingrays are harmless and peaceful. personally ive encountered shitloads in my time surfing and they ALWAYS fly away before you get near them. they are one of the few ocean creatures that will stay out of your way. why someone would do this is beyond me... unless its shark fisher-people trying to bloody up the water. still unnecessary.

    ah ha! short notice but i might see if i can get my shit together and get up there for atleast a night. would be great to see some old faces and meet some new ones. also i feel like getting outta town for a bit.

    i used to be incredibly shy and anxious, but after pushing through it a few times to get to camps like this and ega its dissolved away. its well worth it. if you dont go because your shy you will regret it later, trust me on that.

    i feel bad saying this but ive got the strong feeling that the other parents that ran away have had this happen to them before or have known somone who have.

    sadly not the first time ive heard of it or somthing similar.

    time we start filming everything that happens to our children (unless they are bathing) so political correctness cannot run amuk.

    but best we remember not to "let one rotten apple spoil the bunch" so to speak.

    Chiral your story brought me to tears.... if i remember correctly (and you are who i think, its been a while) ive only met you and yours once and your babe is the sweetest, sad it could happen to a cute happy thing.

    I'd love to go,but my partner will be in her 2nd Trimester by then...this is all new to both of us hey.

    would be glad to chat anytime my friend. was thinking well organise a sit down if you and your lady are keen. my lady will make and bake pregnancy safe foods and such ;) can even give you a menu that covers all food groups per day (and is yummy!). We got plenty of help when we were first working it all out, what goes around comes around, paying it forward so to speak.

    hey all i know its a long shot and a big ask but is anyone driving from syd to ega and have a spare seat?

    cant offer cash for petrol but can provide food and company. am willing to cook, sing and dance for a lift for myself and guitar. also got an 8 man tent if needed and unlimited foxtel on the mobile ROFLMAO!!!!

    any takers?
