It might be easier for you to get verified seeds from the SAB store and herbalistics. Its sometimes hard to know if your picking the right wild species. -

I think your all panicking way to much, cops have got better things to do then keep an eagle eye out for a random cactus that might be growing in your yard, and i dont think your neighbors will give a fuck and dob you in for your 10 foot pedro thats been there for the last 20 years.

no wonder they recommend to not breath in the dust from the bags -
i normally fill up the ant hole on top with ant sand and also lift the pot up and sprinkle it under the base. it hasnt hurt my cactus yet.

yeah man id dump some sand in there to help them stand up or as they get bigger they will fall over when you water them.
