    Stimulant ideas/discussion

For me hydroxycut simply works good enough as stimulant. And actually I get hungry rather quickly when I pop one or 2. Other products do not have the same effect on me. I guess it is the green coffee extract that helps to burn up the available energy in the blood and cells quickly.... at least green coffee is one of the ingredients that I do not see in many other products leading to my conclusion. Maybe I'll try out green coffee extract alone to see if that is indeed the case. I've tried many stimulant products in my life. From many of the body building fat burners and in the Netherlands products bought in the so called smart shops, many types were and are still sold, that are not easily obtainable outside Europe. I've seen so many of the same ingredients come back in different formulas over the years that I am not easily impressed by herbal cocktails anymore. For me it has simply become as simple as "does it keep me awake without getting jittery?" and "Does it boost my metabolism in a nice way?" For weight loss I recommend mostly just diet and exercise. Better to do it on your own, than use pills...... and only if you want to get ultra ripped... haha,.. then herbal stimulants and maybe Clenbuterol hehehe. Clenbuterol also has stimulating effects,... but I do not know if they are ok. Clenbuterol is probably very illegal for non prescribed use.
  2. I'm against Islam and the Sharia law simply because I know a little about it's contents that the masses do not know about. Islam is more political then religious to begin with. Much of it's contents is about how to deal with the Kafir. Kafir boils down to non muslim,.... good deal of violence, subjugation and forcing to convert. These are also some of the reasons Islam was able conquer the middle east and de Mediterranean within a very short period of time. Many do not realize that the dark ages in Europe were also in great part caused by the expansion and rule of Islam. Also that the atrocities of the Crusades and Christianity pale in comparison to what Islam has done in the first 1400 years. Not that Christianity is that good either. The difference is that Islam requires you do so aggressively, because it is written,..... and with Christianity is isn't that clear cut, that you need to go out conquer and subjugate (which happened anyway). I do not want to pit Christianity against Islam,... I do not like religions that much ,.. cept that they have left behind a dramatic and colorful history, art & culture for us to behold. Might have been brutal, ugly and even beautiful, but we are still influenced by it nowadays and therefore unfortunately have to deal with it. The other thing about religions that once you begin to see the common message and read between the lines, they can truly be a source of inspiration, just like poetry can inspire, and give insights into the spiritual world. That is one reason I like and respect it. I truly appreciate the people that are all about unconditional love and understanding (who read between the lines of their religions through common sense) and have therefore been able to let go of the old constraints or paradigms. Buddhism is indeed the most progressive of all the spiritual practices in my opinion. Back to why it is failing; "ISLAM!" is the short answer. It is simply how their holy books Koran, Shira and the Hadit are put together. Big theme is to follow in Mohammed his example and to simply go out and conquer and subjugate and convert. Because that is what Mohammed did most of his life........ kill, conquer and subjugate!

    Stimulant ideas/discussion

I just buy hydroxycut .... the new one with the green coffee in it,.... I do not take it every day,... so just 1 pill keeps me awake for 7 hrs at least. I also work shifts. sometimes even 1 is too much for me. When I get home after a night shift I go straight to bed and notice that I do not sleep that well, and still feel the hydroxycut after I wake up. maybe cycle your stimulants to avoid building up tolerance. Some people can work 7 days a week without any probs,... but make sure you keep get enough, movement, sleep and eat healthy I like my free time too much, but I have known people that worked 80 to 90 hrs a week. Sometimes when you have the right people around you, enough social interaction on the job,... then it can be okay to work long hours or work 7 days a week. Be sure you know the signs of being chronically stressed or overworked. Look it up!!! I've had my personal work / relationship induced crisis and thankfully, it did not develop into getting completely overworked, because I recognized the symptoms and took action on time. Stimulants have added some serious problems in that time of crisis. Chest pains and more. I thought I was about to get a heart attack at several times. Had myself checked out and stopped the stimulants (caffeine & hydroxycut , monster energy drinks). Also consulted with Health and safety services,.. this was necessary as there were / are things going on, on the workfloor, that caused stress situations, that management had a hand in. I was more concerned for my health than a solution for the probs at work, so I did not go to my Union. Just giving these examples as they may be helpful. Now I only take stimulants when I have the night shift and just coffee in the day time shifts. Sometimes when I exercise, depending if my work schedule allows for it, because I need to be very disciplined about getting enough sleep. I totally get it man,... I love my stimulants when I am at work,... makes me be that buzzing up beat happy whistling mofo,... just like those High Ho singing 7 dwarfs! :D

    The ebola medicine game

Seems to be getting worse in the latest news. I.V. materials - HAZMAT suits,.... food, and meds....... what else??? (mozzie nets - spray bottles etc etc) some preparedness is a good idea once it really starts jumping off the continent. everyone needs to asses this for themselves of course,.... you should at least know where to buy the stuff needed, so that it when it gets real you do not have to deal with people that are in panic mode. #1 do your best not to contract it to begin with. #2 if you do or fam member / loved one > plan of action maybe time to start compiling a printable list of things needed. right now we do not know how bad this is going to get. but would bet nice if we can just print it and stick it on the fridge if needed.

    The ebola medicine game

I bet Auxy is planning on making Ebola survival kits! I want one if it comes to my doorstep Auxin!! :D Now I am well aware that the list I added above might not be the exotic plants we would expect from come up in our plant savvy SAB community. Off the top of my head I am thinking in the direction of the incense plants. http://theresanoilforthat.blogspot.com/2012/02/frankincense-and-cancer.html%C2'> < thaadaaaa! haha,.. that is my contribution of an exotic an easy to obtain herbal antiviral ... SO yes "Frankincense!"

Astralagus. Ginger. Garlic & ginger both have a blood thinning effect. Colloidal Silver Elder Berry Green tea Liquorice Pau d Arco St Johns Wort Echinacea Olive leaf extract Oregano oil Now I do not know by which method of action all of these work exactly,... but if a cocktail of these can help your chance of survival by x% I'd say it is worth it for you and the people you care about. If I have the time I will look into it more deeply later on.

What did you do to your cacti today?

hehe,.. good laughs,... but here is what I did to my cacti. Went to pick up a AstroM Monstrose I ordered last week and they said it might have already been picked up by someone because they couldn't find it. So I freaked out a bit. Wasn't that it was an expensive buy. But I was really looking forward to my new baby. Today finally after a few calls they said they found it ( like a week later) so when the called I raced to go get it. And got it alive and well. Took it on a ride to do some shopping, sitting in the car,... letting it get some sun (after weeks in the mail) and giving it a little water in the parking lot.
  12. The self fertile one is possibly a cross. Have to add that I have 2 clones both sold to me as Polyrhizus but with completely different morphology. Both are not not self fruiting. Also have another clone,... which in appearance looks like a hybrid between the two. It hasn't flowered yet. So I have no clue what to expect from this one. Looks like I will have to do a lot of experimenting. Cross pollinating to see what the fruits look and taste like.
  13. Most H. Undatus are self fertile Zelly,.... but would be wicked if they indeed hybridized.... Hope you get a tasty fruit!
  14. Hylocereus spp are probably quite adaptable. I live in a semi arid climate in the tropics and I get quite a few H. Polyrhizus flowers because it is not self fertile I do not get fruits yet. That should soon be a thing of the past. I would say that from a 4 year old plant I've been getting 15 flowers each time it rains after a dry period. I get around 2 to 3 flushes of flowers a year. So if I pollinate them I think I will get the same amount of fruits.
  15. Gr33ntea have a look at these cultivars www.tropicalfruitnursery.com/dragon/index.htm < if the link doesn't work google it. for some reason it did not allow me to copy/paste the link. Will give you an idea of some of the cultivars out there. The H. Undatus ones have allot of variety between them,... the red ones are usually the sweeter and therefor the better tasting ones. I'm sold on the red fleshed ones. Have yet to find a white fleshed H.Undatus that I really like,.... I haven't tasted many of them, so I can't say if there are white fleshed ones I really like. So far I find the white fleshed Undatus mainly bland in taste. From what I gather online is that the pink ones can be almost as sweet as some of the red cultivars, but usually the pink cultivars fall somewhere in between the red and white ones when it comes to taste/sweetness. With dragon fruit it usually comes down to "the sweeter the better", but there are subtleties in taste as well. The Yellow ones "Selinicereus Megalanthus" simply rock!! Very sweet, more like candy than fruit to me. ;-) The Israelies have developed a few strains that should be really interesting to you Ausies,... for the fact that they have been developed with harsh (Negev) desert conditions, good production and good taste and good shelf life in mind. I read that their top Cultivar is called "Venus" < this may be old info.
  16. There are many weird, convincing vids out there regarding this stuff. I myself experienced a few quite interesting things that fall into the category of beyond normal and lately I've been looking into some chi gung, nei kong, tai chi stuff because I feel that I want to work on (inner self) myself for promote self healing. So that is how bumped into the whole telekinesis stuff. Seeing that telekinesis aligns with energy projection needed for regular reiki stuff I was wondering why the hell not learn a cool trick. I'm actually already pretty convinced it is possible for various reasons. Wondering if any of you have tried or looked into it.

What did you do to your cacti today?

Yes,.... Be normal you farking greek,...."normal is already weird enough!" hahaha,..... no worries mutant,... I also find americans a bit strange,....the thing is I can't put my finger on it,.... ohhh well,... maybe it's just me! A lop with KIKKO you said SnowFella....?!?! This kinda just blew my mind. I am just learning all the therms for the Astros,... and never really applied it to any other spp. A revelation for sure!! That is a cool cultivar aim,.... Loph's with more and more KIKKO in them.

non taken Planthunter. Perhaps it is pretty clear that transmission through sneezing or coughing is less successful than compared to the flue. I do not know the numbers. Will have to look into this more deeply.
