Thanks for the help Vert, ill take a few steps towards making the area clean and unharmful,starting with shipping my mum to an old folks home (just kidding ) then ill apply some of the recipe an advice you gave me. The house in pretty close, but kinda hovers over an empty space when its hang properly, round 30 to 60 cm away from the base of sir pedro, though just to make sure ill see if i can move it a little further away. Hiyas, i was gonna put this into the "help me" topic, but for the sake of documentation i thought ild make a new post since its about a different subject. Well, the Pedro that the other thread referred to (that cut to the bottom right is where the big chunk fell off from but thats for the other thread.). Although apart of the accident that happened its been going pretty good, except lately iv noticed skin dying on cirtain areas of the cactus. (you can see how its healthly green,cept in the middle of the big main cahona) It seems to start like this with dry whitish spots which spread out. After awhile they end up looking like this & . iv got no idea whats causing this,i havent changed anything in their growing style recently and havent really seen many bigs around em, though i dont check for bugs that often. would it be some sort of fungus? Anyway, any help and opinions would be cool. Peace

If exercise seems to be helping a little, try getting her to do some meditating yoga-ish exercisers too, ontop of a sleep supplement like amulte mentioned. med helps slow the mind, but it can be hard/weird at first, especially if youve got a racing mind to begin with. Also hear dose of kava can help with sleep, not too much tho as to not get intoxicated,but enough to calm her down. couldent tell you a "sleep helping" dose. maybe someone else can help with that. MDMA and beer (alcohol) in general + the coca liquer could cause blackouts like that from what i hear. when you say your pretty sure mdma may have been involved, it sounds like your not sure, was it dosed or did one of ur pals slip some in for fun? personally ild never mix a stim with alcohol, just doesent feel right to me. I agree, cept these days people who care enough for animals have to actually go out and risk their lives to save the most endangered animals, like the mountain gorillas in the Congo in africa,just to name one. how can anyone want to hurt a gorilla? once you see some footage of them playing and such,its even more sickening then an actual human murder..in a way, their innocent animals,where as humans, well we all know what humans are capable of,hardly innocent.

Hey thanks for the replys guys, Vert, its funny that you should say that it may have been leaning against a fence, because when i first got it a few years ago i had planted it near the back fence,(after about 6 months of super care growing under a 400wt hps indoors) note at that time it was pretty healthy looking. As it got bigger the affected part was getting wobbly unstable-ish and occasionally i did notice it learning against the fence side post thing,thats when i first started noticing the problem, though it was smaller and pretty much just like the second picture,but more spread. (also note that when it was round the fence there where some other plants crowding it, so there must have been some sort of bug suckers hopping from plant to plant and maybe having a party or 2 on the pedro. ) I had moved it from its old spot to the new spot a few months ago where there is alot less plants to cramp its style and let it have its own space.From there it kept getting a little bigger to the point of the 3rd and 4th pictures,but growth ontop of cancer has kept going pretty okish. As for the hose,i love my hose, its gives me much pleasure however the watering hose is a problem at times also. i water the garden mostly and try to avoid the bumping and weaving you get when u water, but i do occasionally bump it now and then when i have to get to the far side of the backyard. When my mum waters the garden i dont think she really takes any notice of it and goes about her business watering,so i can imagine what takes place if shes not taking particular notice of the dmg it can do. (even i dident think it would cause too much damage,but try to avoid) K so im coming to the conclusion that its a mix of bumping\handling, and possibly some buggery bugs (from the old spot) or night bugs that i dont usually see. (or the godamn cacti ghosts) Course of action? i will try some kelp mix and ti tree oil like you said Vert,( dont really know where to get them, bunnings? or a more specialized garden shop? If that doesent seem to work, im split on weather to keep it as it is, like garbage said, might not really be a problem and just continue growing,or to CUT a few inches under and over the cancer, and repot the top of it or give it away even. Hi people, Iv run into a problem with one of my cactus, Sir San Pedro (thats his actual name). while i was out in the garden i donno what happend but i must have bumped or knocked something onto it, to my horror i saw that a good chunk of it snapped and in slow motion plummeted to the ground. So being worried and not very informed about cacti cloning i thought ild ask the experts. sorry, i did use the search engine, and found some useful info but thought ild post just be to 100 percent sure for my situation. Anyway, the piece of pedro that broke is 81cm and decently thick. My question is, is a piece that size able to be regrown? If so, i just wanna make sure i get the technique spot on as to not loose it. From what i gather is.. where the "cut" is made, it should be straight? (or on a / angle)? after that it should be kept in a dark (moist?) area for the wound to harden, or callaus over (i know that the wrong spelling of the correct word). once the wound is hardens up, it can be planted? Is that about right? or anyone got any better tips to help it go smoother? (one thing im worried about is the type of area to keep the cutting while it heals so info on that will be great full) I got a few questions also, can the fresh cut cactus be put straight into the soil or does it HAVE to callaus? Also, iv read that the roots start while at the callausing stage and to plant after the roots come up, is that true, coz from what iv read from the search i did is that you only need to wait for the cut to callaus and then the roots start once in the ground. Sorry for the long post, and i probebly could have found most the information if i looked though the search for longer, but im worried about Sir Pedro and want to make sure his 81cms of manhood survives.

Iv ended up cutting 40cms of it into 3 inch cuts,which il wait for them to heal over then plant n pup em. gonna keep the other half 40cm as a single cut and plop it in the ground when shes ready. Wondering though, does anyone have any pictures of what a nicely calloused base should look like?

Lol so much Christian bagging here. (im not a Christian so it dont bother me),but damn, they get it hard. How about the hindu system of religion? was that based on pure meditation? or some really good substances? And theres many more religions that where probably (90 percent) invented under the influence. (alot of them from the south americas, which is way known to involve substance use to contact a "spirit god" type entity .) I personally think jesus did exist, but he was a man, a philosopher, and his main msg was to basically be a good human to yourself and everyone around you. Much like every single religion from Alaska to china. As a philosopher, i have much no doubt he would have had some kind of substance during his time ( i actually remember a passage in the bible when i was studying\reading it (just out of interest), where jesus condemns the roman authority for banning a simple garden herb,i have no idea which book it was in but iv tried finding the passage heaps of times with no avale, but i saw it,it was in the orthodox bible,not the evangelical/new age ones. It doesent say anything other about the plant then just him calling it a garden herb, but it must have been something for the romans to ban it throughout their empire,maybe even to extinction. Anyway, i might have gone off topic abit but what im getting at is that if this is true and the bible did have some highness in it,maybe most of, if not all "spiritual" movements of the past and even some but less nowadays , are all "inspired" in many ways by some external substances found only in earths (the mother) green nature. (All ancient religions abide by mainly moral "humane" codes, (no kill,no steal and so on) Saying that though, from how a spiritual movement evolves, the true msg is lost and it is used for political purposes,soon or later. Yea of course America is trying to dominate the world, but thats different to a worldwide coordinated conspiracy. I for one am sure if iraq went smoothly, iran was next. they have their guys on both east and west side of the iranian borders. Also iv seen parts of that rebuilding americas defenses, and it all just leeds to more weapons and more stuff to try dominate,no question about that Anyway, any iraqi or afghan guys in the middle east has a right to fight the americans. just as the american red necks would pull out there wall mart shot guns if mexico or say an arab country threatened their land. just as all australians would if Indonesia did the same, thats just human nature. I ended up watching it and eh, its alot like alex jones ones, except with more accurate information and a more specific approach. its basically war = money, america is evil and so on. Personally i do think some high ups in the gov had something to do with 911, but are they trynig to take over the world? i donno, i think they jus want their supply of crack, i mean oil. Weather there is an "nwo" or a bunch of old guys with too much time on their hands that want to create a one world government,who knows. but thats where it looks like the world is heading possibly just out of circumstances of the times we live. (i personally doubt it) On the flip side would a one world gov really be that bad? everyone complains about nationalism causing wars and such.As long as its not a world wide dictatorship.
