I have been an adventurer until recently, no limits. Three years ago I started to have a stable life. Now I'm on my way to have my next bachelor in education (prim. and second) in ultra record time. I am allowed to teach the following subjects: religion, science, history, math, Dutch, French, biology, arts, sports, music, English. Right now I'm doing a three year bachelor in one year. Tuesday I have a job interview ... hopefully I'll have a stable contract and I can start in September.

I have already not enough space, otherwise gladly. Although I would wanna have a coca plant, it would do well in my appartment. -
We have been saving for more than a year already to go Indonesia/Malysia, by next June we'll have over 3000 euro. More than enough for two plane tickets and traveling there two month low budget. I just let some money automatically be transferred montly to my account over a period of a few years, woof woof woof, otherwise it's impossible to pay. After that I'll start saving to go Siberia/Mongolia. I think I'll need more cash.

Torsten, please do post those pictures. I think a lot of these plants are misidentified, especially cos Alicia sp and others are used as grey/red/.. ayahuasca and most be sold by shamans/indigenous people to exporters who think they are selling Banisteriopsis caapi. Which means that people are brewing ayahuasca with completely different effects.
-
And here comes an interesting possible twist to the story: I just did a TLC with the 4 caapis and it seems yellow (Banisteriopsis caapi) and red (Banisteriopsis muricata) have mostly harmine, some harmaline and possibly THH too, while black (Alicia anisopetala) and grey (Tetrapterys Methystica) do not seem to have harmalas at all! They have something else I dont know what it is in TLC, but they were sent to GC-MS. Usually beta carbolines shine distinctly under UV and whatever was there did not seem to really shine. The final GC-MS results should come in two weeks, so lets be patient From: https://www.dmt-nexu...sts&t=32018&p=5

anyone got a comprehensive list of herbal MAOIs??
amanito replied to Zen Peddler's topic in Ethnobotany
The wiki on psychedelic plants is quite complete, but there are a few ayahuasca ingredients which aren't listed. Go to section beta carbolines. In this link http://www.erowid.org/library/books_online/ayahuasca_apa/aya_sec2_malpighiaceoussource.shtml you can find more maoi's from the Malpighiaceae family. Also check previous and further chapters. To find out about a few relatively unknown spp, which are used as B. Caapi alternatives and which aren't listed in the wiki (on first sight), go here: https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=32018&p=5 Enjoy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_psychedelic_plants Beta-carbolines are "reversible" MAO-A inhibitors. lol Zen ... relax, pointing out skin colour is ok if you wanna find out who it is,. People shouldn't be so americanish sensitive when it comes to this. I don't even know to what '''race''' my wife belongs, I can offend her by offending indigenous, blacks, spanish and italians. Homo sapniens var. Mestizo 'Italian'

Anyone here who's ever been in Mongolia? It's one of my goals in life to travel through Mongolia. This year I'll be hopefully finishing school, so I hope that next year I can start by learning some basic Russian by myself for a few years. I'd like to go for a few months without a guide and be able to talk to people .. Sure, I could also learn Mongolian, but that's gonna be a lot harder .
-
If you want, send me some dried material, I'll ask someone if he can run a test on alkaloid presence.
-
Btw, it's referred to as grey caapi. But, maybe a different variety with different leaf shape? I would love to know more of these other ayahuasca plants
-
I found a school close to the house to study Russian. I'll start in September and I'll try to eventually do some extra studying on my own to maybe skip a level later on through exams. In five years from now on I wanna be riding a horse somewhere in Mongolia, so like a good communist I have a five-year plan: I will learn Russian, which is spoken by a lot of Mongolians and I will be able to use it in Siberia, Kamchatka, Kazachstan and all that. I also wanna lose weight and start walking on a frequent base to build up condition so I can hike and I plan on taking horseriding classes later on .

The definition of wine back in the days is different than ours. It had a higher amount of alcohol and I read somewhere once that you need liquor with more than 55% of alcohol. Anyway, i used to spike my cigarettes with the essential oil and it give a slight high. I don't really feel much of the flower in all it's forms, unless the essential oil is mixed with opium and/or hash oil, gives good synergy.

hmzz, never mind, the leaf looks different
