Congregation of Christians, Jews uses marijuana for religious sacrament
foolsbreath replied to Hagakure's topic in News & Notices
hmmm, at $60 american for between 3-4 gms, I guess he wouldn't be making far off his lawyer friends ie if every member bought only an 1/8th a week thats still 24,000 a week!, his laywer friends working a 10 hour day, 5 days a week would be making 12,500 and also paying upkeep and wages, about half of what the church is making, and thats if the punters are only getting an 1/8th a week, bet theres a few who buy more than that! Sounds like a glorified drug dealer to me! -

foolsbreath replied to foolsbreath's question in Fungus Identification
How about I send them to you and then if they aren't atleast I won't have to put up with your crappy jokes anymore?, nah just kidding shroomy, you've cracked me up a couple of times If they are related to the shaggy mane they may well be edible, I thought they might be from their appearance. Thanks everyone who had something useful to say! -

Are they edible? I got thousands of them on grass -
Thanks T, I reduced significantly, strange though, I have seen people put up much larger images, might have something to do with the type of lines used?

I been trying for ages to put up pics, I think one went up once, but every other upload has failed? Is there a maximum upload size? Anyone else having this problem? I have looked on the search engine, but can't find anything recent EDIT: I'm talking about the gallery!
-
A bit more info I have tried reducing and turning off my firewall, used Mozilla and explorer to try and upload as well as directly from my camera I can't upload as a file attachment either. I've tried with jpg and bmp The camera is 10mp and files are large, but no larger than many I have seen here already, oh and I am on unlimited broadband usage?

anyone have nonbridgesii dark exps?
foolsbreath replied to t st tantra's topic in Cacti & Succulents
I totally agree with T st The bridgesii is always darker for me, Put it this way, usually I can be quite happy taking most things on my own, that's the way I prefer it, but wit bridgesii, I feel uneasy by myself and would prefer to have some company, even in a low dose range Nah, I know exactly what he's talking about and its not ego disolution, I think it goes much deeper than that, one can dislove their ego in many manners, wit hall sorts of tools and at all sorts of levels, but if one is recognizing paranoia, your ego is most definitely still there and opertating, I am sure it is related to chemical differences and a different effect on the system Having said that, Bridgesii is my favorite teacher, but I won't indulge if I want to have fun, it's never really fun -
Happy birthday mate!! enjoy your day!

The Independant apologises on cannabis

True, I can't really say anything about what was being smoked in Britain at the time, or Australia for that matter, as I hail from kiwi land anyways, So thanks for shedding light on that issue. But this does show that there is a fair bit of scare mongering going on as non of those factors are mentioned and they are bending the figures to suit there anti-weed propaganda. There are much bigger problems facing todays youth than marijuana. So many friends younger siblings are running around pepped up on dexies and other amphetamines these days its not funny, no wonder kids these days think MJ is uncool when they have all the other stuff to choose from, course they aren't going to look all depressed, yet, wait till they hit their thirties and forties. And yeah, kids shouldn't be taking anything until their brains are properly formed, but hey are they going to listen? I didn't, a 16 year olds foresight extends as far as the next weekend in most cases -
Forgotten juicy arms now dry 'n' shrivelled
foolsbreath replied to Shroomie the Shaman's topic in Cacti & Succulents
I think as long is they are not mold ridden they should be fine for any decorative purpose. If they have been attacked by mold etc, it would be a safe bet to chuck em, but drying in a cool area free of moisture is ok, but ususally one would cut them in to slices to achieve this faster There is some debate to wether this stressful manner of 'ageing' increases or decreases alkaloid content, not that one cares about that for ornamental purposes -

Yeah, what your talking about shoomy is polyploid plants where seeds are treated with colchicine in order to stop the spindles forming in cell reproduction, and therefor when the cell lining reforms there is moer genetic material in the resultant embryo, something like that anyway, I've just woken up so I cant be very technical. There is much debate whether this is really that effective and you won't see it around much anyway as the survival rate after treatment with colchicine is very low!~ -
Yeah, thats a pretty extreme situation Anodyne, and I would have hoped people would have been a bit more sympathetic to you I don't think people should smoke in a crowd, but was more referring to times when people are on their own or actually make efforts to seperate themselves from a crowd, as I see most smokers doing, and I think the ban actually includes 10metres radius from a shelter I am not a smoker either, and honestly cant remember the last time I was upset by second hand smoke, but my point really has nothing to do with smoking or smokers, but the ease at which peoples liberties and free will can be removed, and that the majority of people are happy with it Take any example of something you like doing that may have some sort of impact and imagine if it were banned or regulated at such a level smokers are now, where does it stop if people don't make a stand against it Surely some conflict resolution and negotiation would have been able to provide better alternatives, just as your school did

First-year students at Med School were receiving their first anatomy class with a real dead human body. They all gathered around the surgery table with the body Covered with a white sheet. The professor started the class by telling them, "In medicine, it is necessary to have 2 important qualities as a doctor. The first is that you not be disgusted by anything involving the human body. "For an example….”, the Professor pulled back the sheet, stuck his finger in the butt of the corpse, withdrew it and stuck his finger in his mouth. "Go ahead and do the same thing," he told his students. The student's freaked out, hesitated for several minutes, but eventually took turns sticking a finger in the butt of the dead body and sucking on it. When everyone had finished, the Professor looked at them and told them, 'The second most important quality is observation. I stuck in my middle finger and sucked on my index finger. Now learn to pay attention".

The amount of metals used in hydroponic fertilizer. If the plants aren't flushed sufficiently, well, you get the idea EDIT: Nasty shit really, I'd stay away from hydro if you are concerned about long term health and are a regular smoker, my 10 cents anyway -

Nah I've read a thirty year old book quoting exactly those figures for hash as an average, but with some hash having nearly 12% as well as quoting up to 11% for some strains of bud. This research was carried out in the decade after THC was first isolated. I believe that there was probably much better strains getting around that weren't tested, and selection has just made them more prevalent. Modern analytical techniques have probably also increased the accuracy of testing. The author hypothesizes that the lower THC hash was preferred (this hash also had high CBD and is believed to have a mentally enhancing yet mellowing effect with the THC). Surprisingly this hash came from areas where plants tested had high THC and the reduction of THC and increase of CBD was a product of the preperation methods I have seen outdoor strains 15 years ago that were far stronger than anything I have seen getting around at present, its a crock of shit in my opinion. -
