    Jokes Thread

Women's New Bum Size Survey Results of a new survey about women and how they feel about their bums. The results are very interesting: * 85% of women think their bum is too fat. * 10% of women think their bum is too skinny. * The other 5% say they don't care, they love him, he's a good man, and they would have married him anyway.

    What is it?

It looks most like tripi's shot in the yowie thread, which doesn't look much like the other yowies, but more lanceish. I believe Lance (cordobensis) to be a pachxscop. I don't proclaim to know anything about anything, but my personal preferences lean towards yowie being a peruxscop, while this shot appears more bridgexscop. My scop flower buds are exactly that colour, so I'm not surprised to see it, Anyway looks very scopish to me, bit hard to tell anything for sure without seeing a picture of one with more ribs

    Anyone taking Nexium for GERD?

Bit off topic, but I have had some real stomach improvements of late using red rooibos tea. Initially IBS symptoms were worsened (including bloating and cramps) as well as mild head aches, but after several days these have abated and my reflux has lessened as well. Rooibos tea contains almost no oxalic acid, making it a good beverage for people prone to kidney stones. Rooibos contains the following minerals: copper, iron and potassium, calcium, fluoride, zinc, manganese, alpha- hydroxy and magnesium. It has a high level of antioxidants (up to 50x that of green tea I have read, but cant confirm) and also contains superoxide dismutase (SOD). It also has really low levels of tannin. I used to drink coffee, and then switched to teas. All these drinks had reasonable levels of tannin, although tea was far less abrasive to my stomach than coffee, I think both were somewhat responsible for some of my problems. It seems reducing my morning tannin intake is improving my stomach considerably. As tannin is known to reduce the intake of certain minerals and protein, it may well be related?

    Acid and Rage

yeah, I used to hate coming home and listening to rage on my own !! sometimes it would get really scary, and depending on who programmed and what the program was sometimes it was really depressing 2 Much better off putting on a nice album, slapping on the headphones and do a bit of gaming, or if you cant see the screen just turning off the lights mmm or going down to the local park and rolling around in the grass for a while

Alcohol and Tobacco are Deadlier than Ecstasy

Yeah I agree However, It would vary from country to country and region to region, due to availability and the local fad at the time I commend the effort, but to gain a true picture, i think the study would have to much more intensive for example 10 years ago (my honeymoon period) I would frequent many dance venues in adelaide, my friend owned a club there and often there was 2 ambulance calls per night for GHB related OD's in his club alone while I was there, and this was regular for quite a while. At that time GHB would have topped the list for me Obviously times have changed, but that is my point, this list may chop and change willy nilly depending on all sorts of factors, not least being the methods used for data collation and analysis methods.

    Anyone taking Nexium for GERD?

I've been up all night 3 times this week due to reflux, last night included I'm going to the docs and getting a script, I'll let you know how I go with it, I usually take 300mg zantac, with some results, but not sustained, and when I stop the reflux seems much worse than before taking the zantac..

    Buuuuuuuuullllllshit

thats rediculous, How stupid do they think we are? If this is such hard work, maybe they better effect a more appropriate filing system? No other company would get away with that, what if the situation was reversed? Officer: I would like to see your documentation Me: Sorry officer, that would require an unreasonable diversion of resources Suck on those lemons oops carted off to the iron pen, suspected of being a terrorist and all, not being able to offer proper documentation for my cache of plant based lignin gel

    Sassafras/Saffron/Kratom Mead

Oh yeah Add anything volatile, that you want in the finished product after all fermentations (safron's constituents), or they will be lost through the action of carbon dioxide evolution and heat generated during ferment
  18. foolsbreath

    Sassafras/Saffron/Kratom Mead

malolactic fermentation carries out a conversion from malic acid to lactic acid. This drives the energy processes, so you must have some malic acid present, 2g/l would be suficient for a week to several week ferment, but you could keep supplementing with malic acid to extend (although you will be making your brew more acidic). The formation of biogenic amines in wine such as histamine, methylamine, putrescine, cadaverine (the main amines found post ferment) are all produced from amino acid precursors during the bacterial ferment, so I don't know if you would have any success from propylbenzenes. Finally if you choose to go that route, ensure the vessel is kept tippy topped, otherwise you will get higher levels of putrescine and cadaverine, named because of their delightful scents, as well as acetic acid/ethyl acetate if the ferment is carried out in aerobic conditions. Now, it could theoretically be possible to reduce a nitro group, if one could turn the propyl benzene to a nitro-propylbenzene(could this be done with a electrophilic substitution reaction?) to an amino group by pressure mediated reduction of nitro to amino group via the FeSO[4]/NH[3]/H[2]O/EtOH system, and adding this precursor to a ferment for possible bioamination?

    Morphine

I think that sums up most addictions well, If your friend is happy and healthy, he won't find anything terribly helpful or useful there, and will probably move on fairly quickly Experience is experience and all experiences can teach (even if its the hard way),and then I suppose one must evaluate it and decide whether the experience was worth the experience, hope it all goes well ;)
  20. foolsbreath

    Morphine

Yeah, but there is no real reward I have some experience, but for me it does absolutely nothing, and I mean nothing. 100mg of morph does nothing except take the sparkle away from everything and stop an lsd trip dead in its tracks, 250mg of codein has only once given me a slight tingling in the scalp and that was it, all 5 mins worth From what I've seen of people who do get an effect from it, they just lie in bed feeling sick and sometimes spewing, afterwards they go wow that was cool, but to me it didn't look like it But each to their own, I think the more one enjoys it, the more addictive the personality is. Its not a matter of liking the high, its just a matter of getting high I've heard from several heroin users that they don't know why they went back a second time, since the first time was so fuckin disgusting!

If only it were that easy DAP will act as a good yeast food, and maybe some vitamines to help it along such as ceravit, but don't expect much bioamination from yeast. Bacterial ferments will do better at that like malolactic bacteria which can turn amino acids such as phenylalanine into the corresponding amine in that case phenathylamine, but only in trace amounts.
