    catha edulis seed give away

I put them out of the humidity box after the first set of leaves, left them in a non-windy position in the shade, I think they should be alright as long as the weather isnt too cold.

    Lithop

It was on a lithop website, although it could have erroneously been uploaded on that page, that is possible. At the same time you can get some lithops that look somewhat different than the regular type for instance Lithops divergens var. amethystina although this is easily identified as a lithop.

    sowing out lophs and alike

    sowing out lophs and alike

Ive had excellent success at germination with: premium soil mixed with vermiculite, inside a plastic growbox, always kept the soil moist... actually very wet never letting the soil dry out. I keep them like this for a while until most of the seeds germinate, hope this helps

Planthelper the picture of that seedling in my post has the stem in shadow so it appears darker than it actually is, it definitely has a red stem though and also where new growth is starting on the next set of leaves.. have you observed this with any of your seedlings?

    Lophophora Williamsii

Thanks harry, the medium has dried quite quickly in the heat and has turned alot harder than it looks in the pics, will the rich soil be counter-productive? I have volcanic rocks at the bottom of the pot for drainage and some vermiculite mixed in 1/3rd up after the rock.. what do you think, good enough for drainage?
