    Failure

Hahahah yeah my friend told me to do that a couple of weeks back. Laughed my ass off when I saw the result!!!

    The poison garden

Ummm, are they familiar with Datura???!!! Edit: Apologies... it would probably be one of the 50 plants. I should read things more carefully.

    Henbane Pilsener

Fly with me to Thailand... I'm sure a doctor could fix you up with one.

    Henbane Pilsener

Depends... Instead of getting me a return ticket, just get me two one way tickets - one to Thailand and one home from Thailand in maybe 3 months time. Theoretically I can fly on a broomstick home if it works... spend a couple of months living as a chick back here and then fly over again on my broomstick, get the operation reversed (I'll be sure to keep it preserved) and then fly home again male as I am quite happy with my gender as is. You will however need to fund two sex changes though. In regards to the glans, I was told once about 'coke sex' where both members rub it on their 'parts' and although orgasm is impossible it makes for a very enhanced and long experience in bed... so I suppose it could work, but it is still not a mucus membrane so I dunno.

    Sydney Meet

Yeah, if I'm free I'll definitely come down... chance that I might be in Jakarta then (uncle's wedding) so we'll see how it goes. Would be nice to meet some of the Sydney scene, only really met a couple from the coast and a few from Newcastle\Hunter earlier this year and am always keen to meet new plant heads .

    Looking For Plants To Buy/Trade

I can spare a Psychotria carthaginensis or two, so PM if you're interested and we'll work something out (for trade). Got a couple of others on the list but I'd have to take cuttings and root them which would take a while. I'll have a look to see how long Calea will take to strike as I don't think it'd be long. Oh, by the way... Herbalistics has fermented sceletium and also blue lotus stamen extract for sale.

    Henbane Pilsener

Very interesting!!! Maybe I'll give this a go with my next lot of Henbanes. The couple I have now are going to be used to make up a traditional style flying oinment. Of course the lack of a vagina for the broomstick application will prevent me from using it in the traditional manner though.... ^_^

    removing pups

Yeah, that sounds a bit more correct. I gave the pup away so we'll have to see how it goes. Damn I miss EBA .

Khat cuttings - shriveled and crispy

I got my first khat cutting a few months ago... kept it sitting out under HPS, started doing the same as you mentioned above. Lost most of it's leaves. Stuck it into the humidity area set up under the light (with Psychotria's and others), recieving a little less direct light and it's booming again.

    removing pups

The disc is only about 1cm thick if that... it was cut with a scalpel (sp?), the bottom given a light mist of a sulphur spray after cutting, and it was allowed to dry a bit over night. In combination with a light rooting powder (just for the sake of it), a suitable mix I made, and for it to be watered by misting around the base for the next couple of weeks, I think it should be going in no time at all. Dunno the advantages really, bit of an experiment, but wouldn't a wider piece of cacti form stronger roots faster than a lil pup??? Just out of curiousity, do cacti root from the 'nodes' like vascular plants???

    removing pups

Well in my case the pup is growing from where a cutting was taken previously, and I remember a great thread on EBA (still having withdrawals since it's been down) that went into detail about pups and propagating them. There was something about slicing a disc from the stump with the pup attatched to it and rooting the disc rather than rooting the pup itself. Due to my impatient nature (and the fact that I have another pup on a rooted midsection waiting to be cut off) I decided just to give it a try with this one... so I'm going to wait until later today until the surface of the disc is a bit drier and chuck it into a sandy mix and just mist around the base. I may dust with a hormone powder just for the sake of it, and as it's in a protected environment under HPS it should hopefully root in no time. Personally I'd feel terrible about snapping the pup off... I'd rather have a toe cut off with a razor sharp blade then have it ripped off ;).

ive REALLY lost my sex drive please help

Yes, weights will help... but it will be even better with Tribulus and Saw Palmetto. Combine those three things and you'll not only be horny but probably end up pretty buff as well ;).

    removing pups

Just thought I'd bring back this thread instead of making a new one. I need to slice off a pup and was wondering the proceedure for transplanting the 'disk' sliced off into new soil. Just need info on soil mix, hygene, pretreatments (i.e. fungicides) and most importantly whether I am supposed to let the surface callous over before potting as done with cuttings. Peace... Chris.

    SSRI and Anti-Cholinergics

Just out of curiousity, what dosage levels are we talking about??? There is a very big difference in the subtle tropane alteration and the full blown delerium, so what range have you been dabbling with???

    Central Coast Seedring Delay

Cross post from EBA: Hey people. Just apologising to anybody who has sent any orders off to the Central Coast seedring in the past few weeks and is wondering what the hell is going on. Due to circumstances I have not been able to visit the PO Box for a couple of weeks but I should hopefully be able to check in the next couple of days, and probably post off sometime next week. Thanks for your patience, Chris.
  21. Cross post from EBA: "Hey everybody... I have an assignment due soon and I am after a bit of information that I figured some people might be able to help with. Basically I am asked to select a crop of interest and compile a programme containing growth regulation techniques used during the growth of a crop from propagation to sale. E.g. 07/02/05 - Week 1 - Propagate by Cutting - Auxin Method 14/02/05 - Week 2 - Methods of Pruning - Pruning 21/02/05 - Week 3 - Environment - Heat, Mist, Light Control 28/02/05 - Week 4 - Mixes - High AFP Mix etc etc etc... just things like that, and any treatments used. I am probably going to choose a plant like Brugmansia as it is a perennial (not allowed to be an annual plant) and sounds pretty easy to propagate, but if anybody has some better information on another plant then I might opt for that instead. So yeah, I know there are a fair few people on the board who are experienced in running nurseries and dealing with such things, and if anybody has some information that they are willing to share with a young horticulture student then I will be forever grateful. Peace and thanks, -=Chris..."

Nursery Crop Regulation - Help Anybody???

Hey all, thanks for the replies. I would be opting for Chrysanthemums but unfortuantly we have just done that as a crop for this very subject. I suppose I would rather spend a bit of extra time researching and compiling something of interest rather than take the easy way out, as crazy as it sounds... motivation is my biggest issue, so I need to keep myself interested and this type of stuff is my motivation for my long term plansdreams. Torsten - I am more than happy to use overseas information for brug and adapt it... I will send you an email soon or something to work it all out. Peace... and thanks again everybody.

    ssri,s would you?

Unfortuantly, if they are really needed... then they are really needed. Side effects aside, for somebody who is suffering severe depression it can be a very useful thing. I do also believe they are over prescribed though, as unfortuantly people go on courses because they are feeling a bit down for a period of time and I feel that is often unnecessary. Mostly because this can be circumstantial alot of the time, and if one doesn't alliviate the circumstances then these drugs will be useless. Major depression however must be treated, as it is a miserable existance and suicide is a reality in our world. This is all based on personal experience, but I am no longer on SSRI's but now a different class of antidepressant called mirtazapine. Similar structure to the old tetracyclics but still unique from that class.

    "family" feel good meal.

Homely style butterbud chocolate brownies, would be the concluding course of dessert. Then one could enjoy a cup of kratom tea, accompanied by a special certain after-dinner mint of mexico ...
