I had a Brug growing on my deck (though with very good sunlight) for a couple of years and it didn't flower until I put it in the ground last year. You would definitely need a very big pot by the end as they love root space. I wouldn't opt for putting one inside though. D. stramonium would be handy as a consistent and fast growing source of plant material which doesn't require much light or care... theyl still grow quickly, go to seed and die no matter where they are as long as they are getting some sunlight. I let a couple go to seed and they just keep popping up in the same pot hehe. You probably have seeds\cuttings available to you, but I had my first amazing spiritual encounter with Brugmansia the other night (I might post it soon on EBA if erowid doesn't put it up soon or at all) so I am very willing to spread the magic . PM if you want me to send either D. stramonium seeds or a B. candida cutting.

And then we'd all learn in anthropology that the native Australian tribes had extremely developed skills in macadamia farming, and used Trichocereus as a sacrament, due to Rev going back in time and teaching them ;). On that note though, and in relation to the current A. phlebophylla discussions, go back in time to Mt Buffalo and teach them all how to boil in vessles well before the invasion.

Qhorakuna tantani, don't be sorry as I appreciate your correction . I've worked out my #2 & #3.... #2) Go back to Ancient Egypt and check out the temples, whilst also finding out how the pyramids were built. #3) Go back a hundred or so years with money, buy a small island not too far away from our waters and cover it with a huge Sally D, Kratom, Trich and Loph plantation...Pay some people to take care of it for a couple of generations and then come back with a ton of awesome huge Lophs, and with enough raw materials of Sally and Kratom to sell over here before they were made illegal (and even some afterwards ) or be legit and support half of the worlds consumption at a lower cost...perhaps start up a fresh Catha charter to Australia running a couple of days per week so that people can buy at the docks in bulk in the early mornings and sell at their local markets later that day. ...Now that last one is just pure and utter fantasy, I know. But imagine how beautiful it would be to own a huge collection of 100+ y\o Lophs!!! Hell, with several hundred huge specimens cultivated (and imagine all the pups as well), you could also take a stab at trying to regenerate the falling population of Peyote around the boarder of Texas and throughout Mexico due to westerners digging the roots out.

I figure that most of the questions about the past will be answered in the future anyway. Good point, but still I kinda believe we all have set paths so looking into the future would merely be spoiling it, and I'm sure that we'll find out in another couple of lifetimes anyway. Besides I really would love to find out (but more importantly watch) the universe and how it all begun. For some reason a part of me doesn't agree with the big bang theory as I feel that life and the universe is infinite and has always been infinite, and if you take into consideration the concepts of different planes of existance, multi-dimensions etc, the big bang theory is somewhat limited. Also, I love the quote: "No vestige of beginning, no prospect of an end." ---Hutton

NASA to launch plutonium bomb with 1:350 odds of explosion

All you need to do is have a look at some of the space mission disasters, like the one in 1986 or something when it screwed up on the takeoff, and then in 2001 is also one that disintergrated on re-entry. I don't understand why they believe they are smart enough to detonate a plutonium bomb if they can't even guarantee that the fucking rockets are working properly. Imagine another '86 except with 10kg of plutonium strapped to it. -
...I'd go right back to the very beginning and see what REALLY happened.

Hey everybody, At this current point in my life I'm interesting in trying to identify and overcome some issues and barriers in my life and just wanted to know if anybody has read some stuff on the use of psychedelics in psychotherapy and can recommend anything. Also, somebody mentioned once about the treatment of Eating Disorders using Psilocybin and just want to know if somebody can track down that article\paper for me??? Cheers, Chris.

Yeah, I think it's strange that I've never had that real crash effect and always found that the next day (scat day ) was pleasant for me. When I first tried it I found that I felt better coming down than I did on the drug though environment could have indeed played some impact. All in all E has never offered much to me, it's never been my type of thing even though I have had enjoyable experiences. I enjoy it's syngeristic effects more than its solitary effects. I also regard it as probably the most weird and odd chemical I have ever injested. I've always wanted to know what 'swim' means since the old 'AFOF' or 'my gnome' thing seems to have been scrapped.

What type of container did you use to germinate??? Are they still in that container or have they been pricked out??? If they have been pricked out, into what type of container and what soil mix are you using??? What type of fert are you using??? they shouldn't be fertilised yet and if they were it should have been very weak and a native specific fert. You could be over watering and they could be rotting out. Are there any phyllodes on them yet??? Alot of questions.........

For Big Day Out purposes we get our things past sniffer dogs by air tight containers filled with coffee grounds.

What an awesome job. -
Some pills (clean, lovely, cruisy happy biccies) you don't really get the come down and scatteredness the next day, other pills (intense, trippy, hard hitting) you are all over the fuckn shop (literally... bad memories working in a shop ^_^) the next day. This HAS to be because of adulterants IMHO. Bleeeeeeergh terrible things... *shudders* I've always wondered though how many of the K-bombs are actually DXM. In bad judgement I railed one or two of those things once and I swear it even smelt like benadryl. Even felt different to pure K that I'd tried before, though I'll admit my experience is somewhat limited (and plan to keep it that way *shudders*).

Thanks for the replies... currently reading Strassman and that's what got me started on the thought of psychedelic psychotherapy. Might give me some basis of a way to approach a psychedelic session in order to remove some barriers. Either that or the other thought I'm toying with is just to try aya and hopefully blow the barriers completely out of the water. Anybody had any luck with such???

I was watching that Shamans of the Amazon documentary yesterday and thought of the serpent or anaconda thing in relation to the Rainbow Serpent as well.

Ooooh, a meat discussion. Was always interested to see what other ethno heads felt about meat. About 5 years ago I made the decision to stop eating meat, was merely 13 but already starting to trek down the path of conciousness expansion and such. I could not believe how much of an addiction it was... and it was such a battle of will to be able to become a complete vegetarian (not vegan, just no meat including fish). I would CRAVE it whenever somebody around me was eating it and used to have nightmares that I had fucked up and eaten meat... I think this decision has been a key contributor to my passive nature, as they even say that feeding too much red meat to dogs can make them more aggressive. What was interesting was the biological changes that took place as the red meat left my system. Not only did the cravings eventually disappear and the smell of it became sickening, but despite being the type who sweats a fair ammount (perhaps because of body hair) I no longer got body odour associated with it. I could be drenched in sweat and not smell hideous afterwards. The most interesting thing was I had some really big bad warts on the sides of my fingers, and on my elbows. For YEARS I had tried everything (including alot of painful freezing which left scar tissue) to get these things removed. All treatments either did not work or only worked temporarily, and they just kept coming back. After about 3-4 weeks of quitting meat, the warts started shrivelling and eventually disappeared. I don't believe this to be co-incidance purely because of other biological changes I could feel taking place. If you're only eating fruit some days then of course you will feel sick... it'll clean you right out Seriously though, if you're craving then you're lacking something. Tofu is a great if prepared properly as a meat substitute in cooking... and of course eggs, cheese, beans, chickpeas, lentils etc are great easy sources of protein as well. If you crave meat, honestly I can recommened those soy alternatives (sausages, schnitzels etc) if you buy the right brands. Try to eat regularly (every 2-3 hours), with snacks between main meals. Things like fruit, nuts, yoghurt (or in my case soy products as I never really liked milk) are perfect for snacking, and there is nothing wrong with a bit of junk food. Also for a rule of thumb a healthy meal should contain roughly 1\3 protein, 1\3 carbs and 1\3 vegetables. Drink a glass of water when you eat (protein absorbs water and makes you feel full) and make sure you are getting enough fiber in your diet. Dehydration can often be mistaken for hunger. Give some of these things a try and I think it should stop the hunger pangs... either that or see a dietician, and trust me they will just say what I told you above.

I wouldn't say A. floribunda at all... the phyllodes are too large. Does very much so resemble A. longifolia though.

*bump* Any news yet???
