indigosunrise, if you cant be bothered explaining something to someone, then don't. if its such a hassle then why trouble yourself to even leave a comment like that? im sure someone else would be more than happy look after the issue while your off doing very important things.

i have a baby red leaf one but she grows so incredibly slow! otherwise i would happily lash you one. i dont suppose anyone has some good growing tips? i have heard so many different things, "plenty of water" "very little water" "full sun" "filtered sun" "NO fertiliser!" "appreciates generous amouns of fertiliser" etc etc

thanks guys! yeah i think he will stay in the bucket for now as a clumsy transplant by myself doesnt seem like the best idea at the moment haha.

hey sorry to change the topic slightlybut can anyone shed some light on this for me? i was reading about khat and everyone seems to say that it only produces reasonable amounts of alkaloids after 2-3 years of growing. if a cutting from a 3 year old tree is struck, does that cutting produce alkaloids at a 3 years growth level or at the level of a new plant from seed? or something different? so yeah just wondering if a cutting retains any maturity of the plant it is sourced from in general?

the bucket has heaps of drainage. and i know my gardening skills are pretty shit but i really enjoy it and im learning as much as i can. if my plant had just been dying as soon as i put a hand in i would have researched exactly what kind of conditions (soil etc.) were more appropriate, but since he was completely thriving until 3 days ago nearly every leaf turned brown is the reason i raised this question. thanks for your help guys hopefully he can be saved

oh its only like 1/4 strength thrive or something. dont plants need nutrients like especially this one cos its from the nutrient rich soil in the jungle? like i understand that it mite be too much fertiliser but for the last few months i have done the exact same thing and seen only good growth and deep green colour all over until about two days ago. could a virus or something cause this in this time frame?

yeah thats the one. on another note has anyone ever heard of somebody extracting tryptamines from obtusifolia leaf with any real success? possibly in a country where this is legal?
