I use a cacti and succulents mix but with additional sand, peat moss (small amount) and on occasion perlite. Seems to work okay for me especially for seedlings.

My grandfather has a big Peru also. Looks completely different. Longer spines closely packed together. The fruit is pink like other peru I've encountered. Here is a pup of my grandfathers Peru.

Hey guys scored some mega logs off a mate who found an ancient looking specimen. I think he may of thought it was a trich. However I do believe it is a cereus. Would just like to know what type of cereus I should put on the tags. Is it cereus peruvianus?

Hey guys found this on my property it grows on a vine like a pumpkin. Is spiky as f*** and the inside looks like a lime but smells like a cucumber... I would greatly appreciate your help as I'd like to know if its edible ta! The chooks and possums love these.

My blue cattle dog will frequently lick cane toads. He appears to get very intoxicated from them. His eyes go red and pupils like dinner plates. He seems to have a tolerance to the poison but appears to enjoy the small amounts of bufotenine present. Milk helps the foaming mouth, one day I though he was going to overdose. He was wrecked. Can't stop him though he keeps going back to them

Maybe I should try it out. Would give people a better indication of dosage/strength etc. Really need to get rid of it and I'd rather not throw it away if I can help it.

Got a few 20g bags of dried epimedium aka horny goat weed. Can't sell them on ebay for some reason so I'm offering 20g at $5 inc. postage or $38 for the lot which I'll double check but the total amount buy im pretty sure 150g maybe more. Will also accept certain plant trades if its something I'm after I've no use for it being the stallion I am ;) haha But perhaps a horny goat or 2 may have some use for the tea?
