    syrian rue germination

Sorry to say I've had little luck with this plant... managed to get 1 or 2 germinated but they were the seeds that had scattered to the side of the pot, where it would be warmest. None of the seeds scattered in the middle had germinated. I would highly reccomend a heat mat, they don't like humidity either. Peace.
  3. Yeah I was considering building a greenhouse, but I don't think it's really that necessary, as soon as spring comes my babies are goin in the ground Peace.
  4. Hey all! Got some 2-3 week old woodrose seedlings up, one which has opened its leaves. They look very healthy and seem to be going well, just a question. How well will they cope as the months are getting colder now, I live in south east qld. Just wondering if I should start moving the pots inside or whether they will be able to survive outdoors. Help would be appreciated On a side note: I've been hovering over these forums for months now and thought it might be time to start participating in some of these discussions. Everyone here appears to be kind and friendly people and I'd like to become more involved and hopefully meet some new friends. I have heard you guys have camping trips or something every so often (where plants are traded and what not) so I would love to know if and when another one of these 'events' occurs in queensland. Anyway nice to meet you all, hopefully I can provide some interesting discussion in the future. Peace.
  5. Alright, sweet I'll do that then, now I just gotta play the waiting game. Thanks Hunab. Oh and Sethomopod, those woodrose look beautiful, I pray mine survive long enough to look like that Thanks all for the advice. Peace.
  6. Ah very nice, just what I wanted to hear! I doubt we will get any frost this year but stranger things have happened So for now I'll keep the pots where they are, in the semi shaded area under the carport. If we happen to get frost I'll just move them inside then. Thanks for all your help guys! Actually while I'm here, I'd also like to know when the best time would be to transplant into the ground? As was mentioned above regarding the root system I dont want to move them out of pots until the roots are fairly established. But all in all these babies are doing quite well thus far, I wish I could say the same for my rivea though... Anyways I appreciate the help guys. Peace.

    rivea corymbosa experiences?

I had 40 rivea seeds last week, crushed as fine as possible with a rolling pin. I then soaked the powder in a glass of filtered water for 30 mins, then proceeded to drink the liquid and eat the mush at the bottom. While not getting much in the way of psychedelic activity, the first hour or so was physically extremely sedative yet my mind felt very stimulated, slipping from thought to thought. There was a peculiar headspace i was in, my surroundings had not been changed but rather felt extremely large. The next few hours i became physically very stimulated and a bit euphoric, i played with the dogs for a good 2 hours then went swimming, absolutely amazing I highly reccomend swimming on low doses of this substance. All in all it was a wonderful day but I feel as though I could easily ingest at least double what I took. If you're looking for a more pronounced psychedelic experience I would reccomend 10+ hbwr seeds. Peace.

    Fairy Dream Flower

Could Gidgibang refer to perhaps an aboriginal name for the plant? I can only find information on the Syzgium family not the specific plant. Nor can I find any info on the term 'fairy dream flower'. Do we have any other information to go by or only what is contained in the podcast? I am intrigued by what little information we have of this plant, I will keep trying to find out anything else that I can. As was stated above many plants of the Syzgium family are medicinally beneficial but of the species I have read about, none come close to the psychoactivity that this elusive 'gidgibang' is claimed to have.

    Dature & HBWR Germ

Hi there, I'm currently growing D. Stramonium (a month or two ago sprinkled 20-30 seeds in a medium sized pot) they are growing fine, seem very healthy and are about 2-3cm in height. I was just wondering how well stramonium takes to transplanting, as I know they can get fairly large and wish to move them directly into the ground. Anf if they do take well to transplanting, when would be the right time to transplant (eg. what height, etc. should they be at). Any help would be much appreciated.
