Nice score! I will have to post some pics of the 2 TBM's that I have they both look totally different. This TBM has small pups got this as a cutting off a friend a while ago. she is shooting out 5 pups. http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp163/s...01/IMG_7008.jpg This one has huge pups, seed grown, bought it off a friend. http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp163/s...01/IMG_7009.jpg EDIT: for pics

Thanks for all the info guys and Zelly your collections is great thanks for sharing the great pics. I have a few more photos I will add to this thread later tonight just wanna see what everyone thinks of my buddys 7 year old lophs that has 3 pups popin out of it. I have heard so may different explainations from many different people about how to know what is just a regular loph and what is a caes. Some people have told me that a regular williamsii will pup sooner if it is a cutting rather than a seed grown one. It can all be a bit confusing sometimes

Great pics daylight very nice flowers and collection. Nice size plants. I will try cross some teotz and see how I go. Not sure what clolour my flower is gonna be will have to wait and see as it is its first time flowering. should be interesting.
-
I wouldnt mind one of these myself espically an Ariocarpus fissuratus. Very slow grow but a great addition to the collection. I have heard they arent cheap and can be hard to graft.
-
Yeah it is a weird looking cactus and it has pups popin out from all angles. It has never flowered either and I have had it for years. bit of a slow grower aswell.
-
Yeah very big buds. Havent seen this one flower yet so it should be interesting to see how the flower turns out. Big buds are always good

I went to a freinds place today and on the way their I found a guy that has heaps of cacti. So naturally I asked him if I could get a few cuttings if I paid him. He didnt know much about cactus and I am a bit unsure on the id of some of them. Few look like peruvianus not sure if they are crossed with anything, one super pedro and 2 bridges. i also got what I think is a pedro monstrose. These all came off huge mother plants. Id please http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp163/s...01/IMG_6890.jpg I think Pedro monstrose http://i408.photobucket.com/albums/pp163/s...01/IMG_6897.jpg

ID PLEASE!!! Good size cuttings
sharxx101 replied to sharxx101's question in Cactus & Succulent Identification
They are from 2 different plants. 1 of the cuttings spilt in half cause the guy dropped it. and the other top cutting is off another plant. Nice and blue!!! -
I recently have received some of the above cacti from a friend who got them off a cactus farmer. I received 2 Cuttings, that are very healthly. I thought they were T.Preuvianus but upon asking my local expert he told me that they are most likely a hybrid of T.B and T.P. They are a little blue and have massive spikes like bridgesii monstrose. They look more like a T.Preuvianus but not as blue as the true blue. These are beautyful looking cacti that have just rooted themselves in winter after a few weeks of being in perlite. Does anyone else have this particular cactus? I would like to hear what people have to say about this hybrid? No pics sorry guys I have tried and failed to load a pics as the site telles me I didnt select a file to upload when I did. Sorry
