    shallow rooted ethno's

    howdy all I moved into a new place a while back which is pretty much a concrete jungle. Theres a small patch of soil in one spot I was planning on planting some functional plants that we all enjoy but when I started digging I found that the soil only goes down 30-40 cm and then its this impenetrable gravely stuff. So i'm wondering what ethnogens or medicinal plants have shallow roots that I could plant here?

    Any finds in aussie yet?

    ^ was definitley an amazing haul, considering it was all from the same spot that typically only produces 60 or so subs in the peak of the season :D Found another amazing spot today with around 100+ amanitas which was quite a sight

    TOOL 2006 release

    Been listening to this every chance I get since I got it on saturday, its damn awesome! Seems like it draws themes/sound from all tools previous albums creates them into an intense journey. And holy crap those sterescopic alex grey images look amazing, can't wait to have a look at them whilst on a higher plane. The lyrics in rosetta stoned reminds me of a dmt journey

    ICE Psychosis

    hi bacchmeister can't really give any helpful advice other than be very careful when your friend is having a psychotic episode. My cousins girlfriend suffer(s/ered) from stimulant induced psychosis and gets incredibly violent especially when you try to confront her about her problem. She's absolutley tiny 5 ft tall and still manages to knock my cousin out, kick down doors, take 3 policemen to get her into a paddywagon etc. anyway best of luck, the person in question is lucky to have a friend like you to look out for them.

    Earthcore =- Sydney

    I'm not disagreeing with anything you say there but the only way that we are able to see acts like simon posford, raja ram, astrix, infected mushroom is when orgranisations like the earthcore crew throw the money around which is needed to get these guys down under. At the end of the day its just another party anyway.

    E = poison or panacea?

    Well as long as you've got good quality pills then apparnetly there should really be no comedown, or so I was told. Ok, well this is sort of my personal opinon but for males like myself who's animus (masculine side) is quite predominant then mdma is really such a great tool for opening up your emotional side. But then for people who are allready emotional open then I guess it probalby isn't any use, just my 2c tho

    Roll Call for the NNSW Camping Trip.

    good on ya andy for organising this all, it takes one hell of an effort to get something like this going, especially considering the amount of people from interstate and the disorganised nature of the common australian ethnobot :D Unfortunatley i won't be there, but i'll be there in spirit. I know el-duderino jetted off this morning from adelaide and is prolly up there by now.

    Top ten albums of 2005

    Nice choices apoth, and yes hasn't it been an awesome year for aussie music. Sounds like you went to some awesome gigs, I wish more bands would tour here in adelaide, *sighs* My fav live gig of the year would have to be Grinspoon and some other random local band who didn't even have a name that absolutley rocked out at my fav pub the grace emily one night.
