The pics I posted where from My back yard.I live 20 miles from the reservation and where I am now Geronimo has probably killed settlers some where close by.I am talking about Peniocereus greggii.By the way. Nice flowers every one.Oh by the way see the native American artifact in the 1st photo.LOL

I know that fruit is bitter,and the local Apache swear It is their Peyote.The elders closely guard the preparation.The friends I have on the Reservation have lost interest with cacti and now drink beer??? I think I'll knead to eat some?

That is What the local Native Americans in this part of the world say about it. any one know the psychoactive alkaloids content? I have eaten the root But not the top. TLC and food I have one that is the size of a soft ball.It is 2 years old .I put it under lights in the winter I am seeing how big it will get?

vary nice I have a hybridize selection of seeds I made I cant whate to see what I get?

I have moved them into pots and under lights for the winter to get more growth,flowering and fruiting.I will post a new pic and you can see the size difference flowers and fruit.They grew very nice in the ground and I will leave some in next year.
