  1. http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/200...i-mbh042502.php I heard of this before somewhere, but apparently the general idea is applicable for a number of viruses and works. Makes me wonder about colloidal silver. Don't know how to make it properly and a person can turn permanently light blue from a silver overdose I have heard..

    Ultrasonic fog unit experimentation

Thats interesting information, save someone some pain, like me. The one I have is low powered and is used in a ultrasonic humidifier and doesn't feel warm. With a high power unit fractional distillation of some sort might be possible or reflux extraction.
  3. I am intersted in ultasound humidifiors or fog generators as it a new cheap source of homemade tech experiments as well as its interesting to see water turn to fog without heat. Even a humidifor sonic unit will weld a acrylic plastic container in a couple of hours when placed on top of it in the water. Wouldn't do anything if it was dry and would burn it out. Might even be useful as a cold vaporizer instead of heat if the substance was put into a proper container which is where the experiments come in.. Any other wild ideas?

    Ultrasonic fog unit experimentation

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4316567991&rd=1 This is one of many cheap units on ebay. I was just thinking if the fog was vodga and inhaled throuth the nose? Would it be more effective as some say?

    Ultrasonic fog unit experimentation

Maybe we are talking about two seperate thing as nothing gets hot, the plastic melts from a cold oscillation thats just appears melted from heat but definitely isn't even from the water temperature which one can stick ones finger into at any time to see or even the ultrasound module.. Definetely not dangeous or hot.

    Ultrasonic fog unit experimentation

I just remembered one already, place vodka in a proper but as yet unknown container and inhaling the fog nose way. Actually this was mentioned on the news a couple of months ago. Supposed to go the the brain fast, takes less and with less hangover. Some guy was going install it in bars. At the time I thought air nebulizer but ultrasonic fogger would work even better, just add mint oil for nose enhancement.

    Manganese blocks HIV replication

Very good info> I was using a .9999 percent 1 .oz siver canandian coin I bought for 6 bucks on ebay but I see I will have to cut it in two. I have tried placing it a in a ultrasonic hunidifor I got at a goodwill place for 7 bucks. Thought that the ions or particles might escape in a negatively charged water fog might work, but who knows. Jung on Neuroscience discussion

"Next, the insight. I have always liked to dance but had no reason to suppose that dancing might be explanatory in neuroscience. Now I see dancing with others is a quintessential means to bridge the solipsistic gulf....Music, dancing and sports provide the archetypal techniques." In another science article the subconscious is depicted as a action taking kind of nonaware computer that allows you to open car doors or ride a bike after conscious learning. I tend towards that view as I belive atheletes or perhaps dancers are more relaxed as the subconscous is doing the show and the conscious mind is like the wind, taking a rest and not getting in the way. Perhaps golfers or artists do, wish I could.. But I opened minded on the view that the subconsious can be tapped as many like to think for a ultimate and only reality map . That atittude is a justified rebellion against the dogmatic scientific reductionlist viewpoint which hold that the sum of the nerological parts is simply the sum of the parts. Whereas I think the sum of the parts is greater than the whole sum. Also many find religion as in actual good and bad living spirits as in angels or demons and god not satisfying because of dogmatic preaching without understandable information so unattainable in realization from a logical viewpoint and turn to an attempt to generate their a symbolic idea of such by way of subconscious peering . I think that there can be paranormal experiences independant of the recognized sensory apparatus with the potential problem of being feed false info or the benefit of good info.

My students and I first noticed this anomaly in the olfactory system and in looking elsewhere we found it in the visual, auditory, and somatic cortices, too. In all the systems the traces of stimuli seemed to be replaced by constructions of neural activity, which lacked invariance with respect to the stimuli that triggered them. The conclusion seemed compelling. The only knowledge that the rabbit could have of the world outside itself was what it had made in its own brain." (Freeman, p. 1-2.)I think this is a logical nonloop. One can never know anything because its unknowable.

    Harmaline fluorescence

Wow! Where can I acquire one of these? And how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? I got mine at a flea market for 5 bucks, a oldie but good unit, heres a site I googledhttp://www.minershop.com/html/uv_light.html for general info, ebay or a lapidary shop would have them. I wouldn't spend alot of money until you know what wavelength is best for your application.

    Harmaline fluorescence

I have a small unit used for ore looking as in stones which can be usable to changed for higher or lower wavelenghts of ultraviolet light. Cubric zirconium glows red while a diamond glows blue at one setting while nothing happens at the other. Useful for jewlery evalution. Used for rock hounds to look at stones. flouresecent ores are very valuble to collectors. But for alkaloid view it gives a option of 2 wavelengths.

    Perlite as kitchen chromatography adsorbant??

A swimming pool diatamoues filtering agent is heat cracked fossil diatoms unlike common chalk which are whole fossil diatoms and both can be used for thin layer seperation. As far as using silica "water glass" column , microspheres are available commercially. If you want to form them yourself thats how opals are formed artificial or natural. Tried to make artificial opals based on internet information long ago using "water glass". Very unsuccessful due to my lack of technique. Aerogel is a possiblity also, which is also silicon based. But plastic microspheres and areogels are the new tech.

    Computer mouse cleaning skills?

Thanks for the info as I didn't there was such a thing as a optical mouse or price which is low enough for sure. My computer has a infrared sensor so it should be easy enough to install.

    Hoodia patent look

I could download the total patent but it is remarkable uninformative. So I will download the last section as I know thare is a interest. No specific lesions were recorded in the liver sections from the experimental rats which received the frozen sap as well as the spray-dried sap that could be attributed to the oral adminstration of the abovementioned chemicals. The hydropic cell swelling recorded in both control and experimental rats may indicate normal metabolic cell swelling and anoxic changes. Minimal foci of lymphocytic perivascular cuffing were found in some animals and is most likely an incidental observation. In a few rats congestion of mild degree is present in the hepatic sinusoids and should be regarded as an incidental observation. An important feature of the invention shown by the results of this study is that no tolerance to any of the samples developed over the test period. This may provide considerable benefit, particularly in relation to the use of the compounds and compositions of the invention in the treatment of obesity. While the compounds and compositions of the invention have primarily been described in relation to their properties as appetite suppressants, it should be noted that this expression--"appetite suppressant"--is used herein to denote activity which tends to limit appetite and/or increase the sense of satiety, and thus tends to reduce total calorific intake; this in turn tends to counteract obesity. Accordingly, this invention extends to a method of treating, preventing or combating obesity in a human or non-human animal which comprises administering to said human or non-human animal an obesity treating, preventing or combating amount of a compound of formula (2). A preferred embodiment of this aspect of the invention utilises a composition or extract containing a compound of formula (1). The term "animal" as used herein extends to, but is not restricted to, companion animals, e.g. household pets and domesticated animals; non-limiting examples of such animals include cattle, sheep, ferrets, swine, camels, horses, poultry, fish, rabbits, goats, dogs and cats. As an anorectic agent or in the treatment or prevention of obesity in a human, a compound of formula (2), preferably of formula (1), or the composition defined in any one of claims 9 and 25-31 hereafter, is advantageously administered to said human in a dosage amount of from about 0.01 mg/kg/day to about 10 mg/kg/day. A preferred dosage range is 0.05 mg/kg/day to 0.5 mg/kg/day. When using the spray dried powder form of the extract of this invention, a preferred dosage range is 0.1 mg/kg/day to 20 mg/kg/day; especially preferred is 0.5 mg/kg/day to 5 mg/kg/day.
