    Importing Blue Lotus dried herb?

I payed via paypal but i've left it too long [2 days ago i couldn't put in an item dispute on ebay but now i can't it just tells me to contact the seller] The seller is claiming they packaged it correctly and labelled it correctly I will be contacting quarantine tomorrow to verify how the package arrived. I don't like my chances on getting my money back or my items I ordered. I spent approx $140 USD which really shits me to think I won't receive anything I ordered let alone get any of my money back. Bad ebay seller list for sure!!! In the last 7 years of my ebay experience though it is the first time something like this has happened. So i guess that's still pretty good going. Thanks for your help and suggestions. I looked on the website and you have 250g advertised for $85 I'm afraid I'll have to wait for a while now... unless ofcourse I do miraculously get a refund then i'll put the order in straight away!

    Importing Blue Lotus dried herb?

My bad it is from quarantine not customs... that's me being sleepy when i wrote that post I will ring them tomorrow regarding it but I don't like my chances... I bought this from ebay? Does anyone know my chances of a refund in a matter like this? There is no reason why they shouldn't have labelled it correctly.. Not happy either way I was looking forward to trying it... 100grams for $25 u can't go wrong I thought

    Comedians?

LOL seems a few of the members on SAB are good comedians themselves one of the best stand up comics i have ever seen is the good old 'aussie' steve hughes you won't find this bloke on tv or even commercial radio but gee did he put on a highly controversial, raw but brutally honest and incredibly revealing act when i saw him... infact he was that brilliant i made the effort to go see him again 2 days later at his next gig while he was still in town. i would gladly compare this bloke to bill hicks although sadly i don't think anyone comes as close as being a genius as him. the first time i saw him he made plenty of lsd/fungi related stories/jokes and that really tickled my fancy... i took it as an obligation to make sure he received some fungi during his visit by a foaf and i must say what a fun gi he really was! what a night what an experience.... one of the highlights of my foaf's life for sure especially when it comes to comedians ;) imagine this "partying all night with about 10 of the funniest comedians imaginable whilst all of you are high on mushrooms laughing at old jokes and creating new ones! fuckn brilliant!" anyway here is a link to some of his live gigs.... enjoy http://www.youtube.com/results?search_quer..._type=&aq=f this guy was such a top bloke.... he had perfectly good reasoning for being the highly insulting, offensive type of comedian he chooses to be... it's purely the way people react that he plays on... he isn't trying to offend people it's just that some people just don't know how to laugh at life... too true!

    Societies fear of plants.

Define "Kill" I heard along the grapevine that a proper dose WILL kill you... you will be re-born and your ego will go through a much needed death! Swim has died a few times now from ingesting 'heroic' doses of mushrooms and wishes everyone else on the planet could experience the same thing! People are scared of the unknown, some people would be less worried if they knew you were on drugs coz atleast then they know what your getting into... Taboo of anything within society creates a fear within every individual who is too scared to think outside the square [baaaaa] and this is exactly how the Government want it! Public opinion sways a lot of Government legislation to a point.... ie If a law is passed against a particular plant and the 'general public' either 1) don't know anything about that plant and will therefore mostly beleive what the 'media' tells them or 2) are too scared to research things themselves and out of fear of the unknown will directly support the prohibition of whatever that plant may be! We need a national wattle day where we can all celebrate life and partake in massive ayahuasca [in our case wattlehuasca] ceremonies! We both have that in common kramer; my mum was diagnosed with Bipolar generations ago and she is now on more medication to treat the side effects her original medication created.... it's a disgusting, appaling, hard to swallow reality what psychiatric drugs and the psychiatric industry in general are doing to people who would otherwise be fine if ethno's weren't taboo and they received the sort of treatment nature offers. Not to mention a good chat.... imho therapy is more important than anything you can put into your body having someone to talk to is the difference between life and death when quite often its the medication that causes the death not the depressive state the person is in. hehehehehe I love this movie lost count how many times i've watched it now i've read the book a few times aswell! The look on this dudes face is so friggin hilarious! Pure terror spewing out of his eyes with a hint of curiosity of something he will never know!

    Cheap Vodka Tinctures

i've been toying around a lot with tinctures myself but i'm much more fortunate than some and have access to a still owned by swim and as a result have access to lots of ethanol but never as much as i'd like it seems! regardless the stuff swim gives me is 90% abv which i then water down to 30% which i have been advised [by a natural healer i did some work for and various books i've read] is the best percentage to store tinctures in... higher percentages can sometimes extract a higher yield of compounds but don't store as long! anyway... i have recently made tinctures from the following herbs: st johns wort mugwort damiana [as well as making a liquor @ 20% abv with honey] star anise [mmm the smell alone is awesome] tribulus terrestris calea zacatechichi vanilla beans [mmm now for anyone who likes vanilla this is highly recommended] saffron cloves chilli lions tail wormwood muira puama do a bit of research on herbal tinctures and checkout this piece of software... it's pretty neat and where i got a lot of my ideas from http://www.mininova.org/tor/619599 i'm not sure if that torrent still works but if it doesn't and anyone would like a copy pm me and i can arrange a copy for you! i will eventually have my own herbal pharmacy at this rate... shelf storage of a lot of these tinctures is several years stored correctly and their applications goes way past just altering one's state of consciousness.... although that can be fun too ;-) the beauty of a lot of tinctures is the get the desired effect your after from that particular herb a lot of the time you only require a drop or two as an example the cloves tincture i made... WOW! Only a couple drops mixed in a glass of water within a few minutes my entire mouth had gone numb... I made this just in time for a friend having a lot of pain from his wisdom teeth coming through... i gave him a small vial of about 15ml and the first time he tried it 1 drop mixed with water gargled and washed around his mouth numbed his gums and eased his pain for nearly 24 hours!!! Impressive stuff! Better still though is tootheache plant which I have just sown seed for amongst various other herbs.... tinctures are great for topical applications aswell... i recently mixed a concoction of chilli, juniper berries, cloves & garlic mixed with a sorbolene base applied topically to a strained lower back and it didn't completely remove the pain but took the edge right off it enough for me to get to sleep! and for anyone considering making sativa tincture realise you need to heat it [can't think of temp to active it atm off the top of my head] to active the thc otherwise it won't really do much other than taste a bit weedy... a good example of a simple lesson to thc needing heat to activate it for oral consumption is the famous leary biscuit [cracker with cheese and a bud put in the microwave to melt the cheese which is full of fat which the thc will happily bind to once activated] and it's delicious and very effective and very simple... no messy butter recipes and it doesn't stink the house out too much!

    Anyone tried Synsepalum dulcificum

I tried miracle fruit earlier this year [start of jan] with very interesting results! Initially me and a few buddies experimented with various foods we eat all the time... ie chocolate/potato chips/chicken stir fry/etc etc [stirfry was a winner!] notably different! we were limited to how much we had available one of my friends had obtained it in the form of a chewing gum off ebay but yes i will agree it made lemons very sweet and lime as well... both were easily eaten raw and with delight! but to be honest the true test came when we all tried a cactus brew! we drank some pepperment tea before hand to open up the mucous membranes in our mouth to enhance alkaloid absorbtion and it made the peppermint taste quite odd i must say! as for the cactus as a lot of the members on here might know it is generally bitter not sour so it didn't hide the horrid taste all that much but did highlight other flavours within the brew that you might not normally experience in such a strong way. it definently enhances the sweetness of things already sweet! overall i too would love to grow this plant! seed supplies? or at least i would love to obtain some of the fruit myself rather than just an extract made into chewing gum. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Miracle-Fruit-Berry...id=p3286.c0.m14

    Amanita Muscaria preparations

i thought you may find this of interest last season i picked several large amanitas from a few local forests where i had found literally thousands of them i dried them after mulling the caps up and discarded the stem which from my research i beleive is useless i have smoked the dried cap on several occasions and on every time have almost instanstly felt massive lethargy and ended up having an intense deep sleep with bizarre dreams! this has even been the case when i've had something that stimulates the brain/body like cid yet smoking even one or two cones through a bong has basically knocked me into a deep sleep im not complaining.... the first time i did as i wanted to stay awake but ive smoked it before as a method to relax myself when i couldnt sleep and its helped... interesting treatment for insomnia! any thoughts?

    Beautiful Rainforest Find!

Hey fellow nature lovers! checkout this lovely pic I took a couple days ago.... my first rainforest experience... i was quite obviously VERY stoked with this little discovery! What would u well educated people identify these beautiful specimens as? I'm well aware it has some special 'magic' about it just curious as to the species.... I am personally use to seeing subs back in SA This was taken in North-Eastern NSW

    Beautiful Rainforest Find!

Yes they bruised blue (take a closer look at the photo - they were blue b4 they even got picked) yes I found other patches but that was by far the best & they look different to subs I'm use 2 finding in SA ie the stems are thicker & the more obvious difference is the white outer rim at the top of the cap They were bloody potent to boot off the record I'm wondering if they were a subspecies I'm still on the road atm when I get back home in the next week or so I'll dig through my fungi foraying image collection & share my research with u all I've been meaning to for quite sometime life has just been a lil hectic I look forward to contributing a lot more to this forum too! That pic is definently one of my favourite finds for sure! And as for amanitas I got some great pics of them too (sa) a couple weeks ago I spotted some around morwell in vic aswell as a healthy patch on the side of the road near colac vic driving up through mt otway Not to mention oodles of other fungi I'm yet to Id!

I am not sure of all ID's so any help would be appreciated.... hope I can find some happy new homes for my beloved cacti! Thanks PM me for payment details, pickup is welcome if you reside in South Australia. All of these cacti are currently in Marden, SA. Thanks all, hope I have sparked some interest!

    IMPORTANT LEGAL INFO

Hello all! I am from SA and just read any plant containing MESCALINE including any plant of the genus Lophophora is illegal to cultivate here!!! How much truth is there to this? I have a lot of trichs and a few others in my collection but want to sell a lot of them as I need the $ and don't have the space as I will be turning nomadic in the new few months.... This is an outrage as I know you will all agree!
