    Insane Rainbow Conspiracy Lady

No worries... I couldn't resist posting it here after a friend pointed it out to me! This is a fair call Distracted... I have promised myself that I will invest in a reverse osmosis water purification system this year. One that is portable too as I am only renting. Expensive but justifiable! I mean who knows I might be making rainbows in my stomach with what is in the water these days and the worst part is THERE IS NO POT OF GOLD!!!
  5. also is anyone aware of which member of parliament started this ? was it The Minister for Justice, the Hon Brendan O’Connor MP or is he just inviting discussion on it ?
  6. I just had a thought... from what I have read myself; it's understood that DMT is endogenous in the human body and/or brain. It is not yet understood how the body or brain is producing it but it is proven it is there! How does this relate to the revision of the drug scheduling? Will this new legislation make everyone an illegal producer or in possession of a controlled substance? Or is that already the case anyway?
  7. I really like the idea of a non-profit coalition... I think if we are ever going to make a stand for what we beleive in and for true justice then this is our chance!!! I am studying at the moment and have an essay a need to complete for that first but once that is out of the way I will be putting this top priority on my list and compile a submission others can sign to stating in more detail every ridicilous aspect of this revision of the legislation!!! I will post it on here before I submit it; just incase there is something I miss out or any editing that I overlook that others can help with! I am even thinking I will contact Leon Viner who my Dad keeps telling me really runs with issues like this and makes things happen as he has a lot of contacts within the political sector!!! Fucked up no doubt but this is our chance people! Let's show them we will not allow this sort of legislation through!

  10. Can't disagree with you there The Dude! On both accounts...
  11. This is another point I have to disagree with... you are placing religion and spirituality into the same meaning when it actual fact they are VERY VERY seperate... I am a very spiritual person but religion can go fuck itself... religion is a control mechanism used to control the masses into beleiving what whoever it is in charge wants you to beleive! Spirituality is a very unique and individual experience that we all have taken a part in but not everyone will admit it or notice it's presence for that matter... it's acknowledging that there is something else much more powerful than ourselves in this universe of existance not going to a church every sunday to confess your weekly sins and pray to a male figure with a big white beard who you hope to visit when you die.
  12. I have to disagree partly on this... you are completely dismissing many cultures worldwide which have survived for thousands of years without being technologically advanced... ok so your referring to ANY technology so therefore that could be defined as learning to manipulate nature for your own benefit [ie creating your own fire for warmth and to eat cooked food] but in terms of where technology has gotten us and where it is heading... I can live without a computer, I can live without a mobile phone, I can live without a tv and even a house - if society allowed me to live a nomadic existance... I think to say that ALL of humanity DEPENDS on technology is a ridicule... and a paradigm of thought we need to and more people are moving away from.... we take nature for granted and need to return to the garden of eden to realise the mistakes we have made over the last few centuries... everything in balance and in my opinion technology is going too far and creating a massive seperation I personally think the fact humans have adapted it's surroundings to itself rather than adapt itself to it's surroundings is partly where we went so from! We could learn so much from the indigenous cultures of the world so many are so quick to judge and call barbarians or primitives... they are a lot smarter than we are as they aren't the ones fucking up the planet! What spirituality are you referring to exactly? The only form of spirituality I have experienced and that I am aware of is the type that brings an individual CLOSER to nature and makes them realise the importance of the connection with nature... the total opposite of what you claim... SCIENCE is what has created a seperation; science is what has fucked up the planet... even if spiritual people are living in a fantasy world atleast they aren't destroying it.
  13. I totally disagree with this comment I think the moment you start to question the bullshit you have been brought up to beleive, is the moment you are starting to remove that boundary. Of course they can be removed... I live my life by an important rule... what can be made by man can be un-made by man.. it rings true in every aspect I have experienced it in! Certain conditioning I am referring to mainly, are things like religion But once I started to properly question it; the boundaries dissolved and the truth was revealed... the biggest lie of them all.. religion - opiate of the masses. Even rational thinking is argueable simply due to the fact that it depends on subjective thinking. The education of the individual creates their perception of the world and ALL education should be challenged... it is constantly evolving and so therefore so is rationality. Science will evolve if the minds of the masses allow it. Look at history particulary the influence religion has had on beleif. Religion was the first science and boy have we come a long way! Our current understanding of the universe is in it's infancy and will be totally different in even just a few decades as we unravel more and more of the biggest mysteries still yet to be solved! My biggest problem with this statement is you are blaming the effect of many, lengthy and costly wars on beleif when in actual fact it's not the beleif of things that creates wars... people create wars... guns don't kill people; people kill people and despite the fact that religion [or simply beleif/faith] is one of the main causes of most of the worlds major wars throughout history, it doesn't mean it's the beleifs or faith that cause them. That's a massive cop out! I'd have to honestly say this does offend me... I am rather disappointed in some of the opinions expressed on this forum and thought that it was a place where other open-minded individuals who aren't slaves to contemporary science can express their experiences, ideas and "beleifs" without being shot down using contemporary science... No-one has successfully disproven anything of supernatural/paranormal/whatever u like to call it... and anyone who sets out to do so is missing the point... the most beautiful thing in life is mystery... why do so many people want to destroy that? What do we have to gain from KNOWING IT ALL!!! Then what? I think science can truly advance when it is properly challenged and the boundaries it puts up using it's current model of thinking of logistics are dissolved and new ideas are born!!! Quantum mechanics/physics is doing just that but is still highly argued by many people.... next you will all be claiming global warming is real and that carbon tax is justifiable... In saying that, I do strongly beleive we NEED to change our lifestyle and way of thinking up new solutions to maintain our current quality of life [let alone be able to expand it for everyone to enjoy globally at a low cost] but I don't and can't beleive that the industrial revolution has had such a massive impact on the earth that it can EXPLAIN the change in weather... climate change is very real and VERY natural... history has proven the cycles exist in nature... we think we are so smart and so powerful that it's our fault but I find this very nieve and a huge scam; much, much bigger than the millenium bug that was a claim falsely made by many of now rich people. What people are forgetting is that science has the biggest boundary of all... political, religious, corporate and social influence... meaning there are people out there in positions of power who don't want certain discoveries to be made or to atleast be common knowledge and in terms of sustainable energy systems this is very true... why would the oil companies want governments to heavily invest in sustainable, and much cheaper sources of energy when they will lose massive profits... WHY AREN'T WE UTILISING THE BENEFITS OF THE HEMP PLANT WORLDWIDE AND MAKING BETTER USE OF THE BIOFUELS WE CAN CREATE AS A RESULT... NOT HAVING TO ROTATE CROPS SEASONALLY, USE PESTICIDES OR HERBICIDES AND WASTES MEGA-TONS OF WATER [LIKE ON CORN USED AS A BIO-FUEL AS AN EXAMPLE] I didn't explain myself very well in this respect... what I mean to say is that bad trips don't exist in the sense that a particular tab of acid [if it's LSD] is not BAD... nor is a correctly identified psilocybin/psilocin mushroom a BAD mushroom... it's the individual which makes it bad... the tools are merely catalyts and when people refer to having BAD trips they tend to blame the substance and don't take a closer look at the true cause - set and setting... their own psyche. I find it very disappointing and frustrating to see people continue to spread fear about psychedelics... they are not for everyone but many people throughout history and the modern age benefit hugely from them. Many people are able to live a stable, prosperous existance and continue to utilise what they have to offer. A comment I'd like to make on Crick discovering the double helix of DNA the same day he was experimenting with LSD is that YES he was a very smart man and the LSD just unlocked more of his potential; allowing him to perceive the same questions he was asking from a different perspective and this is my argument for psychedelics... THEY REMOVE BOUNDARIES CREATED BY CURRENT MODELS OF UNDERSTANDING... Imagine... if he had admitted he was tripping when he made that discovery; he would've been ridiculed and laughed out of a job and that discovery may still not have been made. They are not the only way but they are a very powerful tool for many many people from all walks of life. To deny people their use is to deny freedom of thought and expression! The basic human rights we all take for granted or to be honest don't truly have... if we did these substances wouldn't be made illegal. The establishment don't want a world of critical thinkers who question the conditioning they have been exposed to throughout their life but the way I see it... questioning our current beleif systems is the only way they will evolve.

That is an incredible collection dude!!! Great work... well done Even if you did move to Australia I'd doubt you'd be allowed to bring all those with you... that is a lot of years of growth for sure!!! Keep up the effort... wish my cacti would grow like that
  15. Nice prize! :-) Feeling generous I see
  16. Santiago... you have really accomplished one main thing with your posts in this thread!!! You have attempted to push an irrational explanation of rationality supposedly disproving ANY 'super-natural' phenomena that science [of the material world] cannot explain; ironically using science. :-p You have also managed to toy with many of my emotions and that of other members. At first I was very angry from reading Kent's essay and your posts; however, after spending the last hour or so reading the entire thread I have come to the conclusion that I feel quite sad for you. The one main thing the psychedelic experience has done to improve my existance in this crazy universe is REMOVE the boundaries put up through the conditioning I have been exposed to my entire life! The bullshit this society has fed me through schooling, religion, the media and marketing. [not to forget politics] It seems to me that you have your own boundaries YET to be identified and removed; some of what Kent said was agreeable but to completely discredit ALL alien abductions/sightings, ghosts/spirits and ALL other 'super-natural' phenomena is complete ridicule on your behalf. It find it disturbing you are so convinced of your arguments but can sit back and remind myself that this is the sort of thing WE [as a community] are up against. You are pushing mis-information, you come across VERY narrow-minded and no better than a priest or cultist making the attempt to PUSH your own beleifs and world view onto the many. A fear monger if you will!!! What is your desired outcome from this? I actually feel offended at the fact you have claimed to describe an experience that cannot be described with our current language and labelled anyone who stands by these experiences as being real in any sense of the word as crazy. What a massive insult. Define crazy? Someone who doesn't agree with your own personal opinions of the world and what is real and what is not which is in itself only based on your own life time of conditioning and therefore just an opinion? Science CANNOT explain EVERYTHING.... even science admits this so why aren't you? We know VERY VERY little about the nature of reality let alone anything else. Life is highly probably on other planets within our own solar system and just outside of it and to think that out of the entire universe we are the only forms of life, to me is literally insane. I personally don't beleive we were created on Earth. I beleive we arrived here from another planet; whether it be as single cell organisms or as the complex bacteria we are today. The psychedelic experience has taught me sooooooo much about myself and the world and the way I have been conditioned to perceive it and through over a decade of experimenting using the toolbox of psychedelics I have gradually been re-building my own world view based on facts; A LOT of research; questioning everything, and experiences that YOU nor anyone else cannot discredit. If I am crazy; I wouldn't know it. I wouldn't question it! I do, however know I am not! Not one culture in the world can agree 100% on what Mental health actually means and what insanity is defined as. By what you have said throughout this thread you have totally dis-credited people like nostradamus who has predicted many many events well after his time which have come true. DOES YOUR SCIENCE EXPLAIN THIS TOO? If ghosts are not real then how can you explain sudden shifts in temperature when they are sighted or merely 'felt'? I personally have actually had the spirit of an old man walk straight through me on a hot summer's night at Waterfall gully. I felt unexplainably cold and the bloke didn't possess me but somehow attached himself to me and 'followed me home.' I was freezing the entire drive home and actually spotted a series of orbs floating in my car [yet another phenomeno that can't be explained] I managed to shake him off after my own methods were tried drumming and chanting mantras] and then did some research to discover there had been a big explosion at the very place I had been nearly 100 years earlier when it was used as a mine and many men were killed. I have also heard ghosts [children laughing and playing] in the same place in the middle of the night sitting there with a friend listening to a mp3 with just one earpiece in my ear. The song was Deadman Guitar solo by neil young.... an instrumental! I felt very cold had my eyes closed and wasn't aware my friend could also hear it and felt the cold until I felt panic and had to open my eyes to which the giggling stopped and my temperature went back to normal and we just looked at eachother in awe. In this same place we both FELT, SAW AND HEARD 'nature' communicate to us... we asked it to during a storm [we were protected in a valley at the bottom of a small waterfall from the rain] and all of a sudden a moment after we requested acknowledgement we received it and a huge gust of wind swept in and drenched us to then leave a second later and the protection from the storm was once more. I have also seen objects picked up in the air when I was about 8 years old and moved to another place. Well before any experimenting with plants came about... Some experiences are never forgotten and they are usually the ones that cannot be explained but then I guess I am just crazy! Also a very strong memory I have from when I was 8 is of the first time that I astral travelled and left my physical body during sleep. I have since repeated this through psychedelics and meditation with great success. My own personal opinion of OOBE is that our physical self is but a vessel and our soul can be trained to leave the body through certain methods of altering one's brain waves. Trance if you will. Now this has been scientifically proven but then I suppose I am still crazy. What about our aura? I have seen them plenty of times around myself and on other people and I have also had telepathic experiences [communication through thought] using syrian rue with the other people in the group except for one guy who was in his own world and not being part of the group experience! I also find what you said about shaman's very insulting and far from the truth and a vast number of people would back me up on that one... you have attempted to stereotype, label and describe all aspects of the spiritual aspects of culture and life in general into a single sentence as being mythological, brainwashing and lies. Shame on you. As for BAD trips... I personally don't beleive in the concept. I have had some extremely difficult experiences and I was in a bad place at the time but the thing is I stopped and analysed myself even deeper as a result rather than blaming the substance and learnt so much more from the experience therefore making it a GOOD trip despite it being difficult. There are surely instances of other people as previously discussed having bad experiences but these are usually people who are abusing the tool and have little or no experience. I have met such people and they swore to never do it again; sadly they didn't learn from the experience in my opinion as they just went back to drinking copious amounts of alcohol and continued to drown their sorrows rather than face their demons! In summary... just because you have shut yourself off to the mysteries of life and feel you can explain anything even slightly strange as being delusions created by crazy people doesn't mean you have to aggresively narrow it all down and spread more lies about something more magnificent than anything science has ever discovered. Just like I "beleive" psychedelic substances and plants are here for a purpose; so do I "beleive" that people like you are here too; to constantly challenge us on the journey and show us just where the world is at and what further work needs to be done. The one mistake people who are scared away from psychedelics make is to not respect them for the powerful tools they are... NEVER under-estimate them... they will always be more powerful than you think... at times I find a small dose suffient and healing in itself but othertimes I need a hardcore reminder of just how insignificant everything is and where I stand in it all! It isn't what happens during the experience that matters; it's what you do with it afterwards! Thank you for starting this discussion Santiago; I hope at the very least you have learnt something from all of this! I know one thing is for sure that you have a poor understanding of shamanism and the psychedelic experience as a whole. Peace!
  17. This has Codex Alimentarius written all over it... makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it!!! I will sign and back up any proposals that are going to be put forward. I have limited knowledge regarding the chemistry and have a feeling there are quite a few other members on here that could put a very indepth submission together... This certainly needs to be challenged and in such a way that every day aussies who would normally not give a shit coz it doesn't effect them can relate!!! as clearly it will effect everyone!
