    Penis plant?

I'm shite with IDs but it looks quite like a little TBM. Looks a little dehydrated and that might be the start of some scale on there too. Give it a drink, some sun (dont let it burn), rub off that scale and spray the affected area with some white oil. All speculative but someone who knows will chime in if im wrong. Peace

    Mid year camping trip

My vote still goes with hillbillys for the jenolan camp, on the same road as the millionth acre picnic area but a bit bigger and possibly less likely to attract visitors during the days. Jenolan google map Peace

    Muscimol warning

If I'm thinking correctly the sites on the GABAA receptor activated by benzodiazapines is separate to the site activated by GABAA agonists like muscimol, as such the possibility of either of the two possibilities comes to mind (Im not a pharmacologist and this is just my open thinking so someone can correct me if they see im wrong): EITHER they will compete due to conformation change in the receptor resulting from ones binding inhibiting the binding of the other (and ive no idea of which would win as both are strong agonists at their site, probably a combination of effects tilted in the direction of one or the other?), OR they will both bind and activate the seaparate intracellular pathways they were going to activate (likely with some cross over). Again just my musings. Peace

    Muscimol warning

TST, Muscimol is a powerful agonist of GABAA receptors, and possibly a partial agonist at GABAB receptors. Evidence suggests that GABAA agonists or GABA uptake/metabolism inhibitors have an antinociceptive effect. Peace

    Room Mate

Bumping this, looks like I'm on the search for another room mate again, someone to move in within 3 weeks would be good. Peace
  8. By definition 'Health' includes both physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, and a medication could be seen as anything which aids in increasing the individual's standard of any one of these aspects of health. Thus even if cannabis does not improve physical health it may be benificial to SOME people's spiritual health. Just a thought. Peace

    Cactus heaven

Thats all sorts of fucked up. Really upsets me to hear that. Unfortunately we heard the same at the cactus nursery we visited recently where they wouldn't even let us take pics and the lady had more than a handful of stories of people in the cactus society having very expensive cactus ripped off from shows or gardens around...including one rather comical one where a lady had a several hundred $ cactus stolen, thought she knew who it was but couldn't prove it, so went to their garden and stole it back herself lol. All up pretty sad to hear of such things happening in a community that should be more concerned with sharing tips so others could grow up their own rather than simply stealing years of someone elses hard work. Peace

    Mid year camping trip

Lol incog, am i reading your suggestion right that every person (i think there is around 13 including your mates) should bring enough food to feed all the people coming, meaning that over the 2 nights and 3 days we are there we will have 13 meals...i thought we'd be tucking into some appetite suppressents...not sure how 13 feeds will go down lol but does sound like an intersting plan. I'll bring kit for some pizza's if keen: 1 cup Flour plain 1 cup self raising 2 tbsp oil Pinch of salt 1 tsp yeast Water to firmness Mozarella Tomato paste (chunky) Garlic - roasted and crushed Fungus (should we find any) Put together, put on foil in upside lid of camp oven and sit the pot over the top of it with coals underneath and coals on top - cook for 20 minutes. And thats it, simple as pizza, is the cheese ok for the vego's? Peace

    Tobacco and ciggarettes

Tobacco smoking will be the cause of death in upwards of 50% of all long term smokers...theres a fun fact. The reason its still lega...25% of the population still smokes (in aus). What politician is possibly stupid enough to outlaw it and lose 25% of the vote in one go? If thats not political suicide then what is. The other thing is the billions of dollar it earns the gov every year, so even after paying health care costs they come out on top (think from memory it costs somewhere above 30B a year...but not sure how much health care that included). Am trying to remember the figure but smoking related illness was also one of, if not the biggest single cause of hospital admission. If it didn't mostly kill people late on in life (40's+) I'd call it natural selection, because to my mind anyone who keeps smoking or takes up smoking given what we know about it now...well. Peace

I'd still be happy with jenolan, if not maybe this mary's park one but it has no facilities whatsoever... http://www.forest.nsw.gov.au/recreation/ce...est/default.aspLink And is a little further out than oberon, in the 'sunny corner state forest' Map But yeh, we've still got a few days to sort this out Peace

    Mid year camping trip

Ummm, Hillbilly just raised a good point, Mt werong will likely have a car park fenced off from the camping area...so for those of us sleeping in cars or the sleeper trailer, we will have to sleep in the car park away from the camp site...might not be such an issue, but if we are in a state forest apparently you can drive onto the camp site which doubles as us being able to park cars to block off any wind and offer a little extra privacy...and make it easier to put up tarps. I know it seems like im being a little one sided but these are just points for consideration. Peace
