Any plumbers or landscapers in the house?

Magic dits ideas great , id just fuck the councils asset up though (if you can find out if its thier stormy thats causing your problem) heaps quicker than getting sum $$$$ plumber out to prove their drains the problem and they will come out quicker to fix it , also if they ( the drain cleaners) are worth a pinch of shit they will findout water aint evacuating out of it the way they intended it too , thats if they give a damn. About 90mm pipe , i reckon its shit , it gets squashed really easy, where possible iv always used sewer pipe pvc 100mm. dont listen to foreheads at bunnings or anyone else for that matter, tell you that you must use 90mm its the law, in most cases its just the minimum and its cheap and shit. You know if its possible??? you could hire a camera and have a look and get a cctv dvd of the break in the pipe , then they may be liable for any damage its caused you.

Any plumbers or landscapers in the house?

I wonder what its caused by though , can you see water (maybe) coming from somewhere going into cracks in the ground and evacuating somewhere god knows? , or is the subsoil literally just vanishing? A cracked stormwater pipe or council eavesment in the wrong spot can under mine stuff.

    Salvia flowering

The closest thing i could compare this too was the Salvia farinacea cultivars comercially available to flower growers when i worked in a seedling and colour pot production nursery in south east melbourne.

    ID if you please?

There is probably a big/seed producing one growing nearby. When i was doing my apprenticeship i remember reading this book( it was from the UK) about indoor plants and it seemed like young saplings of this plant were used a bit like a false fern for indoors!

    Will this grow anything?

Not much of a loph grower myself , but am looking forward to giving it a go soon as alot of members here have really good colecions raised from seed and simple methods doing so. Happy gardening But you should never put anything on your hot water unit for any time , actually your hot water unit has nothing resting against it or on top of it.
  14. Thats a real collection if i ever seen one, very nice' and they all look so healthy too, and very little weeds as well , inspiring ! Name the sexy peruvian clone? well i cant, i bet its not "icaro" ,i want it in my peruvian collection.

    Salvia Cutting Rotting?

Iv often wondered why people attempt to $trike roots on cuttngs in glasses of water???? why??? THE MAIN THING is to keep the cutting protected from anykind of wind , ventilation is important but salvia divinorum is a plant that loves protection Too aid in striking roots next time you want to put the cutting into into a fine propagation mix and try a "rooting gel" hormone and chop all leaves in half, except those tiny new ones forming on the end of the tip. This wil slow the plants "breathing" down and cuttings wont seem to wilt so quickly. That one that you have now is doing well though, thats ready to go ito soil now, well done:)

    HEY U , computer nerd!

    HEY U , computer nerd!

thanks heaps , yeah vual it is and yeah magic time for an upgrade i think , did a bit of reasearch and found out that computers are like trucks and if your gonna take around heaps of machinery to protect yourself its gotta have the grunt to run at the speed limit as well as taking on board all the protection, Cool, shopping time, thanks you very much peeps ,i wont use this computer much anymore just too say thanks , even then i was dodging vacum cleaners and muscle enlargment products.

    is this joke funny?

Not that funny ,but not like being told you gotta stay back till 9.30pm when you start at 7.00am Iv heard it before , this truckie that used to pick up at this nursery i worked at , he also had this other joke that's sort of similar and offensive. Q - " A girl on all fours ,with cum dribling out of both ears - what does that tell ya? " A - " Floors level "

    Need some help with rooting

I wouldnt bother about scraping off anymore mould just put them out in a more open sunny spot and see what hapens , if the mould gets real bad and starts rapidly liquifying the cut i would just chop that bit off the cut of and try again at striking it.

    Need some help with rooting

Fungus or mould! Are they in the shade still? since your in sth east qld i recon you could keep them in an open sunny spot in a free draing mix like the one you have mentioned , also dont move them around too much at all , cuttings dont root that quickly when you move them too much, They go well man, alot tougher than you think, succulents dont require that much mothering when propagating cuts, i actually just put my cuts out in the open where i sort of want them too live for good , The only time i really worry about putting a new clone outside to strike roots is in that period of mid jan - mid feb too hot for gardening anyway. just to note about temps Iv got cactus still that im still trying to root its a small piece of psyco0 and iv been trying too root it since spring last year ( now nights get down too 5 degrees at some stages) and they got a bit wet i guess you could say , it sort of darkened off a bit and the dog buried it but im quite certain it will strike roots when october comes around and im doing all my repotting at that time as well. Wait till mid spring for results, youll be surprised hopefully.
  22. ^ That's a good idea dworx , not as much work involved, cheaper than heaps of copper, probably wouldnt even see any difference at the shower rose either and its safe as it would use virtually the same system and fail safe mechanisms on your house already + no fire m thinking that cos the water is coming in pre warmed during the day , you may even be able to talk to a sparkie about lowering your day rate ( tariff) on your hot water unit too virtually nothing except just mayb a little zap in the arvo in winter time.
  23. I recently demolished this ancient solar hot water system on top of this shed, he had series of (four) solid timber doors on top of this decaying shed, the doors were covered in copper shim that was painted black and he coiled what seemd to be about 200 mtrs of copper pipe that was painted mat black on to these doors!! and all this led up too a big header tank that was copper too , he had a valve set up that enabled him to go back to electric. The water was quite hot in the lines not so much in the tank, Sounds like (and is)just a whole lot of hard work with many problems encountered along the way to me. Research into pressure and temprature relief valves as well Has anyone ever thrown a sacrifical anode from a hot water service into a camp fire before?? iv beeen meaning to do this for some time now , apparently they are meant to have quite a bit of magnesium in them.
  24. Nah its not as cool as it sounds " you have to try it first hand to see what i mean" That would make it more painful( its wierd pain too ) i feels my veins and tendons tighten up , but the muscles stay numb two docs couldnt explain it " carpel tunnel or like it prob , i reckon some how indirectly caused by my love of ciggies not master bates or hard work maybe?? do you smoke ciggies chiral??
  25. I didnt read more here but , chiral do you find your arm/arms feels numb sometimes?? i think i have a variant or this condidtion in my forearms from pulling things together like rope and crimping tools and stuff , its real bad numb but hurts in the tendons and feels like i have a bruised elbow
