Will get some pics of the actual mushroom soon, but here is some prints to get you started: The new mushrooms popping up out of the media look quite like subs, but the seem to look different to me when they mature a bit. They don't stain blue. Any guesses?

Thanks guys. Yeah it's a bit of a strange one. Can't get any more pics as they have died off. These guys came up in a pot with a Cereus peruvianus 'monstrose' in it and was just wondering what they may be as they looked interesting. Have no idea where they may have come from. I managed to grow them for a month or so in another pot, but then they died. I emptied the pot into the garden and it looked like there was still some mycelium growing in there so they may come up in the garden? I have some prints if anyone wants to do some research. Really not sure what these mysterious little guys are. Wasn't planning on eating them. Could be risky anyway as they look like a look-a-like species to me, but am not very versed on mycology as such. Was just keen to know what they might be. Thanks again.

Yes Sida rhombifolia is Paddy's Lucerne, a common weed.

A FOAF of mine had something similiar done to them many moons ago. I can guarantee it was'nt a particularly pleasant experience from what I hear.

Medicinal plant staves off thirst, promotes stamina

Yeah, did a little bit of research to find out some more about the Duboisia myoporoides, and pretty much found out the same as you have said here Rev. I find it interesting that different communities of the same plant contain different alkaloids etc. Would this be purely brought about by climatic conditions? Or would things like annual rainfall, soil types, altitude, humidity etc. play a part in the chemical makeup of this interesting species? -
I thought this was actually kind of funny. I think if you are prepared to join the army, then you should be prepared to have your mind warped by any means at their disposal. Just my opinion though.

The weather looks absolutely beautiful for a day just chilling in the gardens. We live in hope LOL It was a good day, not a big turnout and VERY wet. A good day nonetheless.

Hey Benzito mate, yeah i'd would be thinking more towards the 10 years. He is a massive specimen. I think we have just one or two mutations in Australia. I have seen the terms 'mostrosus' and 'inermis' used, am not sure if they are the same, but suspect they might be. There was a thread not that long ago about types of TBMs in Australia.

Nice one Looks like Cereus peuvianus 'monstrose', but the flowers make me think maybe not. You're lucky to get some good cuts bit. Keep us posted with some pics of how your cuts go. Thanks for sharing.

The pup has roots, it needs no aerial layering. Stop confusing the poor guy. He's either going to have to sever and plant or leave it. I choose the former. Now he is in the same place where he started i.e not knowing whether to leave or cut, so yeah. Just plant the pup.

Plants photosynthesize however small they are, and plants do this relative to their size so I think that is irrelevant.

Nope, you must be hallucinating paradox604 Nah I can see it too LOL

Why do you think this would make any difference in photosynthesis?

You do realise these cacti are very slow growing don't you HyperSpacePixie?

Looks alot like a Cereus sp. bit, if you can get a good photo am sure you will get a positive ID.

This is them Benzito, they get a bit bigger than I thought but I think I was mainly seeing juveniles. Note the pic on the right with the dragon with fawn shade on head. Mountain Dragon - Rankinia diemensis
