    evapourating 'Mezcal'?

ie. During it's life's course of cactus consumption. Even still, it'd be unlikely to consume enough. And then, the alcohol would seep it thru the entire bottle's volume. A plausible placebo effect is all I could see it being for most people, with the idea of downing a grub after a bottle of grog having some psychological significance.

    evapourating 'Mezcal'?

It's amazing how many people have told me, with great authority(?!), that the grub contains concentrated alcohol. When I explain in simple terms that, even if the grub was 100% alcohol, it'd contain way less alcohol than a middie of full stength beer, it finally hits home that it must be an urban myth. However, I'm still unsure whether or not the grub feeds upon cactus. If it does, could it build up a store of 'actives' ?

    Ephedra-how is it now???

That's very interesting WD. I tried to grow these without success. The E. major sp. was one of the easiest things I've found to grow, but the sinensis for whatever reason had me stuffed. Could anyone, maybe Torsten, list in order of potency, the ephedras ? Thanks.

    Little pricks... please help!!

Not sipermites, are they ? Are they extremely small ? Does the webbing over the tops look a little like.... Spidermites have developed resistance to most pesticides, mainly due to their prolific breeding and short life cycle. Something like every 2 weeks! The most effective chemical solution to this problem is Abamectin. Otherwise, a more natural solution, yet much slower, is the use of predator mites. See here for info If your problem does not relate to mites at all, then simply disregard this message.

Vin's, I have seeds of a few species. I don't know if they are what you're after, but PM your address, and I'll send some to you. Once you've got them, you can look up some info about them.

    eucalyptus seeds ?

My favourite would have to be E. diversicolor. It's also adaptive to coastal-like conditions.

    salvia divinorum misclassified?

Is there any evidence that SD isn't a coleus ? The evidence that it's a Salvia, is sketchy, is it not ? This has also caught my interest some time ago, and today again looked closely at a coleus. The stem shape, and even leaf shape and texture, to an extent, remind me of SD. Never seen an SD flower up close, so I can't compare that. Anyone (Thelema maybe ) bioassayed coleus species ?

    T. Pachanoi

My gnome, Worsel, said that he had quite an experience on a 8cm piece of a ten year old T. peruvianus. Mind you, it was a very mature 12cm thick. [ 11. December 2003, 17:59: Message edited by: Skulking Lurker ]

Does anyone have a few viable Areca catechu nuts that they can spare or swap. I've got a number of swap items available. Please PM me. I'm also after a few T. cacao seeds. I think they are coming into season about now. [ 08. November 2003, 18:27: Message edited by: Skulking Lurker ]

    A. catechu

Does anyone know where I could get a couple of viable cocos nucifera nuts. Preferably the large, more rounded variety, instead of the oblong ones. I got a couple thru customs from Christmas Island several years ago. I managed to sprout them, but the winter frost killed them off. I really want to try again.

quote: What interference? The inference that I'd rather see poor families without social security sleeping under bridges and wherever. I have been close to that before, and could well be doing just that, right now, if I let it happen. I like you gomaos. Try to focus your feistiness for some good. Nice discussion.

Drug education in the land of the free

yeah, skulking lurker, go on and praise the capitalist society. Hallelujah! I'm not praising anything, merely observing and taking part in what I observe. favourable economic climate? Keeping up to date, and having a moderate understanding of economics would suggest so. Is that because Howard sucks up the asses of Bush and that chinese Imperator just for mo money? Not at all. Our domestic economy was cranking along, long before others started their upward turn. Any future monies thru trade can only provide more opportunities to those that want them. If there's "millions of australians making the most of their self-opened oppurtunities" they do so at the cost of the less fortunate. The 'less fortunate' make up a large proportion of those millions making a better go of it. Imagine if we still had the lack of opportunity of about 10-15 years ago, today. And then, is it "whinging" to critizise your government for being evil? Not at all. Whinging is when you critisize your circumstances without doing anything to shift your position to one that you can't critisize. but I think I'm wasting my time here... Yes. so you must be one who grabs and gets whatever he can regardless of fairness and the like... I work very hard. I'm glad to be in an economic system that enables me to be rewarded for such efforts. Nothin' better than incentive. So you want your luxurious yuppie-lifestyle on the cost of sick, disabled, umemployed, unemployables, simply poor people, youngsters who can't go to Uni because they can't afford the fees... No, I want a comfortable lifestyle, and the opportunity to even better that thru hard work. The more money I can make, the more money I can spend, the more money I can revolve around the community, the more money everyone else has, and so on. Easy. you'd rather see poor families without social security sleeping under bridges and wherever so you can dwell in luxury, just because fortune is on your side/ Fortune is not on my side. I make of myself what I can. The better I, and everyone else can do, all contributes to your descriptive scene being less and less likely. Oh, and by the way, I resent that inference of yours. I believe you suck! I will fight for your right to think of me however you wish.

Drug education in the land of the free

Sit on your arse, whinge and do nothin'.... get nothin'. Millions of Australians are right now making the most of their self-opened opportunities, in conjunction with the favourable economic climate to get themselves comfortably wealthy. I'm not going to be left behind wallowing in shit simply because I 'couldn't be fucked'! Message to everyone.... Be fucked, and keep being fucked to build on something that will continually return to you everything you always wanted.

Man, you're out there, gomaos. Get past your issues, and make the most of the situation you're presented with. Fuck. Anyway, my comment changing the govt won't make a difference was in reply to the post of nabraxas which you replied to. About law enforcement. Nothing to do with the tripe of your last post, previous to this.
