Having read the Erythroxylum australe post I had a look at the Australia natural high web page at Erowid: http://www.erowid.org/psychoactives/faqs/f...australia.shtml
Has anyone verified the potential of some of these plants in the list (except for the obvious)?
And will we see any of these among the collections at Shaman Australis Botanicals?
It'll be pretty cool!!!! :-)

I heard from a place suppling dried Heimia that you can smoke it for a yellow visioned, sonic hallucinatorial buzz. Does that work or is it btter to make the brew?
Simply eating the plant material should work as well, Non?

So far Trichocereus pachanoi and T. peruvianus handel the cool/cold very well (even in pots).
L. williamsii var caespitosa handels it as well but I haven't dared put out the baby L. williamsii's.
I find that if you leave them in a dry sunny position in the winter and in the ground for less root damage from the occasional frost they seem to survive well!!!
I just want to have a challenge with growing some sub-tropical species outdoors. Plants nearly always do it better outdoors in the ground. And I saw loads of warmer climate plants growing in the botanical gardens here in melbourne and thus thought it couldn't be so hard for me to try.
What have you tried so far that worked?

Another question on growing. How does this one grow down here in Melbourne (Heimia salicifolia).
Any other entheogenic plants that do well in the south?
Cheers

Anyone with experience, tip or general info on growing Catha edulis or Salvia divinorum in Vic, outside in the ground?
Do they make it through the winter down here?
And does Salvia make it through the dry, hot summers?
Thanks
