  1. I know Ive read somewhere that the spores do survive the digestive system of only cows due to their nifty internal set up.

This is probably the reason they are so commonly found on cow dung as oppose to horse, roo, camel etc.

Many the spore shot from the cubes would be caught be the surrounding grass.

There it waits to be shat on or eaten by cow.

Spores that find themselves deep inside their desired substrate will have a far greater chance of germination due to the high co2 levels and absence of light.

  2. Two sausages in a frying pan.

One turns to the other and says:

    "Fuck its hot in here".

The other one turns and says:

    "AH FUCK A TALKING SAUSAGE!!"

  3. Its good to ask them the first question i believe.

Like said before, Whoever asks the questions has the power.

But don't ask a question that makes you look clueless.

Joe: "Hello officer, why did you pull me over?"

    Officer: "You were speeding"

Joe: "Oh really, how fast was i going?" Bam! you sound like a cnt who can't read his own speedo. They'll make anything up since you don't know yourself.

A good one to ask is:

Joe: "So am i under arrest officer?

    Officer: "erm"

Joe: "No? then I'll be on my merry way, bye"

Unless they've got a reason to detain you and they make this reason very clear, you can legally walk/drive away IME.

Tell them your time is money, and they'll be receiving an invoice.

This has worked so many times in mine and friends experience.

Try not to sound like a smart arse though... Its a very fine line between sounding informed and sounding like a smart prick.

  4. So if you have no glue how are you secureing the frame together? Screwing it together? Prolly not as firm but at least you can de-construct it i guess.

What the plan for a covering? Had the PVC frame idea for a while but couldn't decide on an easy way of covering it. How are you going to go about it?

    They fit together quite tightly.

Not bothering with glue or screw so like you said its easier to take down.

Which is inevitable since we're renting.

Going to use some sort of see through plastic covering.

I've got an old pool cover but its a bit aged.

  5. Does that mean you just clean out the shit in their cages?

That's all I do, but I do it for lab animals, so I get the title of animal technician. It makes me sound a lot more important at parties and stuff :)

    -bumpy

    Basicly yes.

Not proud of it but it pays the bills.

Plus i don't have to deal with joe public, just animals great and small.

  6. Just get 2 'T' pieces for each 4-way you need and glue them 10 mm part from the centre at 180' to each other.

Offset the spine beams left and right as you move to the next bay

I would do this but, its not really a spine anymore this way is it.

Plus i'd have to buy glue and other bits'n'bobs for the job.

    Not to worry.

I've got a few scouts on the case since some of you people have been far less than useless..

Talking about tampons and the like.

shroomytoonos, i'm looking in your direction.

  7. Glass bottom? Does that mean that they have plastic walls and lids?

If this is the case don't bother unless you have a UV steriliser. I have some plastic ones and they deform in the PC and microwave.

You can get UV sterilisers for about $100. But for a $100 you could also get a fair few all glass dishes.

These ones are a bit on the small side as well. You want at least a 90mm dish me thinks.

I just soak mine in methylated spirits for 24 hours or so.

Its 95% ethenol don;t you know.

    Works a treat.

    No need to PC them.

The only thing i PC is the jars, grain and agar.
