It's very similar, except it looks nicer/healthier than most the pics on google. Shows what you can do when the growing conditions are really really good.

Some people use them as grafting stock too.
It may not be self-fertile, so you might need another plant to get it to set fruit.

I too have a soft spot for ginger cats; my first cat was an uber-fluffy ginger persian cross. I had him for 14 years and was a dependable (if cantankerous) companion.
