a death in the family brings the family together, or does it?
shruman replied to simon_marklar's topic in Creativity, Spirituality & Philosophy
My heart goes out to u man, I know its the hardest thing in life ur sister and touch wood that it never happens to u u will ever have to go through & does leave u with a greater appreciation of life even if it takes some time to see & appreciate it. But I think u shouldnt worry to much about ur mothers actions & focus a little more on ur own, I think u should have stood up for ur grandfather not walked out of the room ur actions condone ur mothers behaviour & leaves ur grandfather who should be a valued member of ur family probly feeling more on the outer than ever, maybe the lesson u should take from this should be ur actions should set a good example for everyone. -

nah it would be no fun if there wasnt a serious comp. bring it on. though i only have 11 pachanoi stocks and 7 peres that are ready for grafting atm. probably 6 more pach and 5 more peres that will be ready in a month. just attempted to graft to 2 peres and 4 pach on sunday. not sure how many of them will take at this stage. How long have those stocks been in pots? The cactus in the top left of ur pic looks extremely etiolated.

fluros on mass can create quite a bit of heat and proper ventalation is a necessity to provide optimal growing conditions plants need fresh co2 during day cycle and fresh oxygen during night cycle also helps to control humidity and related problems. Doesnt have to be fans with a small setup passive systems can work well on small scale. A 400 w HPS should reap bout 800 g wot does ur foafs fluros get? a foaf wouldnt use a light without ventalation
-
how does the company know ur using a 400 or 600 ? how do u know they know? those fluros were on sale on an ebay shop hydromasta they come in 2 spectrums would be good for clones or early veg, or small area, ad says equal 400w but thats probly only incadescent light

so what ARE the nasty chemicals that go into nasty hydro?
shruman replied to stonewolf's topic in Chill Space
There are well over 100 different cannabinoids with 30 to 40 generally being present in a particular strain this can explain little differences and nuinces between different smokes even if they are in the same sub species. I agree with u torsten uv light and rain are probly the most significant factors that would change a plants cannabinoid profile, not the growing medium. I think there are cross tolerances between all cannabinoids. -
that said, stilnox have been linked with date rape cases and this may also be the reason why they'll be pulled off the shelves or restricted (a la rohypnol). rohypnol has always been restricted as far as i know, they did add that blue colour to it so u know if ur drinks been spiked but i dont think it was rescheduled or anything. Although docs are less likely to prescribe now days.

It's part of the flavour. Makes it acidic. In most people's eyes it's a bad thing. My point was that you consume more phos acid in coke than in a kilo of pot, so it is not worth mentioning as a nasty. Definitely a bad thing coke sux would rather drink donkey piss ! I only mentioned cause it is definitely a nasty before u add to a solution which has accumulated toxic salts, use caution wash hands with alittle bi-carb after use. THC, CBD & CBN I think are all horses for courses each has good merits my FOAF enjoys nothing more than high THC kind for creative uplifting trippy effects & goes great with other trippy things but high CBD mid THC kind is great for that stoned downer depressant feeling and goes great with other depressants. The production of the resin is genetically coded for, but the actual composition of the resin is different after time. eg. same clone inside and outside.... inside: optimal production of resin at all times accumulation of resin over 60 days or more very little UV outside: non-optimal production of resin resin never older than a couple of weeks or so as it is removed by rain and wind high UV This comparrison is of indoor vs outdoor not hydroponic vs soil, hydroponics can be done under the full glory of the sun & soil can be done indoors under lights or natural light. But is a worthy comparrison all the same. I know im telling u nothing new but other people might not know and consider indoors as hydro or outdoors as soil grown. -

It's in coke is that a good thing or a bad thing? Why would one combine with Ph up when u want to lower Ph? Arent cannabanoid profiles geneticaly inherited to the most degree with oxidisation & degradation also effecting profiles? Most under lights hydro is Indica while most outdoors is Sativa Which have big differences in cannabinoid profiles. -
Have u tried the SAB shop?

Ph down is phosphoric acid pretty nasty shit by its self, dont know if it is absorbed or broken down by plants or what. Ph up is nasty shit too a strong alkaline cant remember what its called. A FOAF uses with good success and taste Masta-Grow Part A & B dont say what they are derived from Dutch Fest hydrobloom A says derived from Calcium Nitrate, Pottassium Nitrate, Calcium Chloride, Pottassium Carbonate, Iron Chelate. Dutch Fest hydrobloom B derived from Pottassium Phosphate, Pottassium Sulphate, Phosphoric acid, Magnesium Sulphate, Chelated Zinc & Copper, Borax, Sodium Molybdate. Nulife Power Active asymbiotic bacterial culture. Nulife Stop Wilt Ph down when needed And always flush for 2 weeks Are any of these nasty? I thought borax wasnt good for people but know plants need trace amounts. Most people ive talked to on the subject in aus call anything that has been anywhere near a light Hydro & alot of stuff that hasnt. Hydroponics is a way of growing plants in an inert media with water & nutrients being basicaly supplied as needed by the plant.
