  1. Something similar to this topic is a what Patricio Dominguez (The guy from the Spirit Molecule) talks about in this video great video, well worth the watch.

I would love to hear your opinions on it.

He speaks about teachers or spiritual guides not in Ayahuasca rituals but in everyday life. Like a spiritual mentor. I find this to be a very interesting topic and could help launch people deeper into their journeys without getting hurt. It may even be useful to have a mentor system on a forum like this.

  2. Thank you so much for the reply!

I by no means think i don't need healing (just a different intention thats all)

In these powerful plant journeys i have always sought to be humbled and awe-struck by the voice of the plant with insights into the wider world and the cosmos itself.

Without the shaman often the medicine will largely lay dormant.

I have never thought of it like this. I have heard of some ceremonies where the staff play the Icaros from a laptop if no shaman is available.

You definitely answered my question, I'm currently being bombarded by information on the topic so it was refreshing to talk to someone about it.

I'll keep you updated with my further travels :)

  3. I have been researching a lot into Ayahuasca; set/ setting and intention and how it is taken either in ritual or just alone at home or in nature.

From what i have read into it seems very much like the rituals involving a shaman are very agitated and uncomfortable (for lack of a better word)

The individual experience seems to be reported as much more centred, being able to meditate or lay still (Without screaming or shaking uncontrollably)

A question to anyone who is (Or might know someone) experienced. Is this the case?

Another question that has risen is intention. Majority of the people traveling to the amazon to drink with a shaman are looking to better themselves and their lives.

I hear of very few people who use the medicine to communicate with the universe and develop insights into its inner workings.

If anyone has anything to say about this, i would love to hear it :)

  4. Every time a i walk past it, it seems to have a few new flowers on it. At least for the past 5-6 or so months.

Im sure "always" is an exaggeration!

There any many similar looking cacti in my area but this always gets my attention because its the only one i see flowering.

I'll take some pics tomorrow :)

  5. I've had some strange twists, turns and flat out walls in my spiritual path and would love to hear some other opinions on the matter

From what i can gather at this point in my journey is:

Through all senses (sight, touch, taste etc) and ones science has not yet discovered, data is constantly being input into our bodies and minds.

This data can be transmitted through physical matter or by energetic means an example being magnetism. This translation of constant transmitted data between everything and anything is what we perceive as "spiritual".

At the start of my spiritual journey it was very easy for me to accept spirituality but now i need a logic and evidence to back up any claim i have to prove its more than imagination (or ego)

Any help would be greatly appreciated

    -Thanks all :)
