I wouldn't worry if they are under lights. Need to keep humidity high though. Red is ok. They will get cranking in a few weeks.

Is this fungal infection on my Astrophytum?
BedOSpines replied to Milo's topic in Cacti & Succulents
I had this problem and also with myriostigma, mine started just like yours. Notably it has not spread to the others. It's still hard and if it is spreading it's very slowly. I'm leaning towards insect puncture. It hasn't had a water for a long time and is in pure mineral soil. -

Cheers mate. Will have to up the scoria. I had considered black spot. I had it on my tbm once but it was larger spots that where raised a lot more. But yeah I guess it probly is black spot. I wasn't sure, maybe it could've been some type of mite or something. I wish I understood black spot better. Why would wet roots make those spots in that particular spot lol?

Hey guys. This scop has some skin problems it seems. Seems to spread quite slow. What would be the best thing to do here?
-
Lol good one.
-
Hehe that would be an expensive parcel delivery . It's only recently grown roots so could be a water thing I guess. My biggest concern is the possibly of this spreading to other plants. If it's not likely spread I'll just let it be.
