  1. I am not sure where the best place to buy these are. I have bought from Koerhes and the price was high with low yields. My best experience was getting fresh ones from a person I met who literally pull the berries off of the plant. I bought Euphorbia stuff from Koerhes too with little success and I think they just have a lot of stored seed which is bad for yield.

  2. I have wasted a bunch of money again ordering Loph seeds from Koehres and am getting depressing yields. Looks like out of 100 I have something like 3 germinated seeds. :(

I had been given some fresh seeds straight off the plant one time and the germination rate was much much higher. Does anyone have any fresh seed?

  3. @sally sometimes they got rich from embezzlement in China proper. The explosion of growth there has made many legit and illegitimate millionaires. It's been said that Vancouver has been ruined by the real estate speculation from Chinese millionaires who pay huge sums for real estate.

I knew what I was getting into, since I knew how to ID the seeds and they were not much money I figured it was fine. But 0 out of 4 vendors is not very impressive. Not sure I'd order anything from there again.

One vendor who I paid 1.14$ for seeds has refused my refund and is asking me to ship the seeds back for a 50% refund. Haha, not likely.

  4. Just ordered 4 batches of Euphorbia seed from AliExpress. Wasn't expensive so I figured I'd give it a try. All 4 orders with different vendors were counterfeit seeds (clearly not Euphorbia of any kind). Bah. Didn't risk more than a few dollars each, and wasn't expecting much but...

  5. Contacted a guy I bought a cutting from some time ago. Apparently he was doing away with his collection because he was moving. They are a bit beat up but they have a lot of character!

This is really good though, I didn't really have enough pachanoi. I didn't want to hurt the small plants that I had to take selfish cuttings. :)

  6. So cool. I bought some vegetable ivory to carve, but then realized how freaking hard it was, and that I didn't have a carving device good enough to make a mark in it. I wanted to do it scrimshaw style and not with a Dremmel. then I saw how many different knives there were and how much they cost. So now I have 6$ worth of it which I wouldn't throw away but I'm not sure I'll ever get to carving it!
