Habanero update: My mates and I kinda tried one habanero last night. We made nachos then planned to have a bowl of hab on the side. I sliced the habenero up and then washed my hands thoroughly, that was the only contact I had with the fruit all night. I foolishly licked my fingers as I was eating the nachos and my mouth burned for a good 6 hours. One of my mates squashed a seed between thumb and forefinger then licked the oil, he was in a pretty bad way all night and it even came out in his urine within an hour. He was the worst off. Plus we had no milk, only beer. These things are hardcore. I don't know how you guys eat them! anyway, this is what the most mature one looked like cut up. Can anyone tell me how much longer I should leave them on the plant?

What are some of the things we will be likely to need? Sorry for such a noob question but I haven't been camping since scouts and I have never been to any kind of alternative gathering/doof etc so have no idea whatsoever. Last time I went camping I forgot to bring a chair, so I know that one What about toilets and medical aid? Cheers

Hey guys. This morning I noticed these white spots on my Khat plants and was hoping someone could give me some advice as to what to do? My narrow leaf plant is not affected but my two others are. Not sure what this variety is but I bought it from Sharxxx This is Vienna White from SAB

I had a look with a magnifying glass and it is definitely mould. It doesn't look as bad today as it did yesterday.

Thanks for the replies guys There haven't been any real changes in conditions, we had alot of rain here a month ago but things have settled down since. I'll try looking at them under a microscope. It is only the 2 Khat plants with the problem, everything else is fine. I'll add some perlite to the soil and see if I can get it to drain better. It is in straight potting mix at the moment. I'll also stop watering the leaves Thanks again for helping a noob out.

^^thanks for that. I am learning more and more everyday about chilis. I especially like the part about unfit fruit being used as pesticide spray. Next year I'll grow ten habanero plants!

Isn't that why they got raided a couple of years ago? If I remember correctly the cops thought SAB was selling precursors or something so they decided not to sell any more ephedra products.

A few people have already claimed all my habaneros by PM. If I had more I'd give them away guys but I only have the one little plant. Thanks for the interest. dworx, how do I get them to seed? I know nothing about growing chillis.

Totally Natural make a product called sleep more that has Kava in it. I bought a box of them on Wednesday from the Chemist and sent them back to the company on Thursday.

As a complete noob can I ask how old approximately that massive Loph would be?

Thanks for the reply. The ones I had didn't have anything inside them, they were just a fragile hollow shell that would crack with hardly any pressure at all.

I bought some seeds from a former member of this forum years ago which I assume where unripe. If I tried to scrape the husks off them they would just cave in. I ended up never using them.
