Surely the poison pea applies to that!
Oh, my bad. This is not the poison specimen. I should have mentioned that.
The poison experiment will have to be started again unfortunately.

Welcome to the second installment of Acacia acuminata broad phyllode seed giveaway!
Half of the seed will be collected from my sandalwood plantation and the other half from another stand of jam trees, approx 80-90km away. I will send 5g of seed to every person who posts below. Seed will be sent out around early jan
Only for members in Australia. I do not post internationally. All you have to do is post below
Happy (belated) wattle day!

Just now, TheMooseZeus said:this is a neat looking tree, what are you hoping to achieve though?
Will the fruit have aspects of both the acacia and the pea?
To get some ripe fruits before the birds get them. I want the seed for growing purposes and the husk to eat/make jam.
Last year I think from memory we only had 3 fruits but the birds managed to get them before I got back to pick them

Surely not? It's been well over 6 months?

I've had 3 fruits from 2 L williamsii plants in the last 6 weeks but saw no flowers
Torsten said give the wool a trim and upon doing so I only found 1 spent flower. Did the other 2 just pollinate itself that quick?
Cool regardless -

i just guessed his online persona was somewhat elaborated or something, you know to sell his stuff...
I did a few orders like a couple years ago now it seems, received a couple and had one seized and destroyed because of labelling, all legit allowed in the country but destroyed because of that. I even recall asking specifically about labelling but the message musnt have gotten through it's a shame. anyway he seemed lovely etc
i think there was another guy involved, ando or something, and i didnt dig that vibe too much.
He also doxxed another aussie who had received some of what i had seized, he was like hit him up for some.... lolz
anyway just my angle, he had plenty of interesting seed available, just didnt seem to know how to be a professional, he probz does now- good luck yall
Before I made my order I asked Huan if all bags will be properly labeled as to fulfill the import standards and he said yes. 4 months later and nothing had arrived he said along the lines of "your biosecurity must have seized them". So much for being properly labeled eh
Upon requesting seeds be sent again via express service with tracking he agreed to do so. Seeds arrived and after putting a post in the SAB facebook group, he hits me up for the $75USD it cost to send yet there was no mention of this when I asked him to send again. He also re-sent another aussies order express yet he asked him for only $10... Makes no sense. I did consider sending him the money but after the spew comment he left (now deleted but I have screenshot) on my post I decided not to.
Anyway, this is what I have left is anyone wants to grow them and go 50/50 in seedlings

1 hour ago, Inyan said:This is the first I have heard of this, but after a brief search for Trichocereus and seeing much san pedro on ebay I am a bit perplexed.
As concerns paypal, I know some very nice Trichocereus hybridizers that utilize paypal for sale of cacti as well as seeds.
Do you think those will be affected as well. Any links to this information on either?
Sorry if all of this is common knowledge, but I don't do most social networking platforms outside of forums like this.
https://www.reddit.com/r/sanpedrocactus/comments/6wh6ot/paypal_warning/
A number of "commercial" sellers in the facebook world are now having to use other methods of payment instead of paypal.

Recently I was sitting out back in my cactus patch having a think when this magpie flew in only a few meters away with a giant grasshopper in its beak. The magie proceeded to smash it against the ground and eat it, legs and then head. Flew away leaving the body behind.
