Sure. You can and should open the lid every now and then to control and bring in some fresh air. Besides, it´s better to water less first and add some more later. The reverse (too much water at the beginning) is a real problem and usually kills the seedlings.

Added some more moisture, looked at them today and about 12 more have germinated. Happy days

I recently sowed 3 types of cacti seeds (8 days ago). I have 2 germinated so far, but 2 trays don't look quite moist enough. Am I able to quickly remove the lid and spray a fine mist of water inside?

Each hab plant has around 30 pods on it.

Cut a bunch of can lids off (albeit much better than these 2) bit of recycling and good for seedlings. Black rumba ornamentals.

Got around 30 seedlings of various peppers. Will go into my grow tent in a few months for the winter period.

Sowed 3 lots of seeds (16/1), Scop x Pach, Pach x Bridgesii, Bridgesii x Pach. First time trying to germinate cacti so hopefully they work.

1) how long do Pere roots take to appear on a planted cutting?

2) how long before you do the graft should you stop watering Pere?

lol....its only one...and its only going to grow faster

I've been told by a few people that I should cut off vines that aren't producing fruit so all the effort can go to the vines/flowers that DO set...

...How true is this?
