Ah yeah cool hehe Yeah starting with a loop and/or pattern to look at would make things heaps easier, don't think I had any, I was just playing with sequencing individual hits as audio and constantly referencing a track to work out which drums to use and where to put them lol Def planning to have another/serious crack at it now that I'm (almost) finished uni though. Fuck yeah, nice one. I've been wanting to do the same thing myself. While there's a bit of a dnb scene here the parties are almost all commercial/soft shit. I've slowly started trying to infiltrate the doof scene with neurofunk/darkstep/techstep goodness but haven't really gotten anywhere yet. Anyway if you're gonna be doing some parties, here's a link to my dnb demo

Fuck yeah this is the kinda shit I listen to regularly Nice work on the track, you've got the style down pretty well! I'm curious how you found the change going from writing psy to dnb; I had a very brief go at it once or twice myself and found it a bit tricky to get flowing, I think mostly as I'm totally unfamiliar with methods of sequencing drums in dnb, which is pretty much the fundamental element of the music, in a pretty serious contrast to most psytrance.. As for project names, uh, Slythe? Riggen? Dropkon? Divvypod? Nangbeat? Fuck knows..
