    Brugmansia first timer

Yeah i'm at work i just did the same thing, nice one chemist One comment though, people will always have a use for something, good or bad in your eyes doesn't really have anything to do with them. Cooking meth for the high or smoking ma huang for lung issues is much the same, you both have a use for the substance - just a pity the government decided to outlaw a plant that just doesn't make sense to me Dunno, that's just me, obviously you take it personally cos you have a 'genuine' use for it... I recently had a brug experience, in my opinion this plant should be even considered unless you have a clear and set intention for what you wish to achieve from this plant. Its an immensley powerful one. I started small making a tea with half a flower and even that was enough to feel the massive potential of the plant, i really pitty those poor people who go and injest a few flowers and leaves just for fun Look what i just found!!! BWAAHHAHAHA!!! eh, sorry ;)

  3. http://www.compra-segura.com/ They have some very interesting products, i'm wondering if anyone has order from them and not had problems? I'm aware of legal issues with ordering something such as any coca product, but there are many more extremely interesting things in there, even have a look at their shamanic / native section ayahuasca bowls pipes etc... (i'm a sucker for south american items) Thanks

    changa???

Interesting you say this once swim was on xtc and lsa and also a little too drunk to care about repercussions and loaded a large pipe (very large) with a pau d'arco changa (i believe that was the only medium) and similar real visions occured. The main ones i remember were of two people fighting but only by their poses, very 2 dimentional and in the foreground, all the usually visuals but much less geometric were behind these visions but one guy would come in from the left with an uppercut pose, then the other from the right with a right hook, etc.. very very sttrange one of experiences that you only remember very few images of the whole thing. When swim came back his cat jumped up on his lap my god he had no clue what this thing was, tactile sense was still all over the place and nothign seen by his eyes could be understood, he thought it was some large rug that had come to encompass him in its existance.. the first break through he ever had where it didn't matter if his eyes were open or closed it simply didn't make a difference, he was truly disconnected from his conscious for a period of time Certainly one to remember..

    Could it be??

I on the great ocean road yesterday and a little after Aireys Inlet a particular tree stood out (why didn't i take a picture??) which fits the description of a phleb.. is this possible? Dark green phyllodes oval shaped (but not so much as i've seen in all pics...) ~6cm flowers etc etc... I'm 90% sure its not phleb.. but could it be? Are you aware of any other acacias with similar properties to the phleb?

Help! Sally D not doing too well!

Do you mean submerge the whole pot, so the top soil is covered also, in water? Wouldn't that absolutely soak all the soil is that too much?

Help! Sally D not doing too well!

As a matter of fact yes the climate is very similar / exactly that of Melbourne! Ok perhaps a better place could be found for the plant, i don't think it'll be liking those cold walls, especially overnight.. Is watering everyday too much? I heard to keep the soil quite moist, the plant is prone to root rot but they suggest a well drained pot should be enough to avoid it.. what do you think? I like the suggestion of removing aged leaves would that be encouraging new growth? Any other suggestions like this to get the plant healthier or is it simply a matter of giving it the right conditions then waiting and hoping all goes well? Thanks very much people
  14. Yeah i'm aware of the maidenii, i've found a few in melbourne but the pick of the crop is apparently obtusifolia.. Quote from Wattle Web Acacia Obtusifolia "Distribution: coast and tablelands of New South Wales and extending into the central western slopes and to north-east Victoria; also south-east Queensland. Usually in Eucalyptus forests and woodlands and often in dry situations but may also occur in damp areas."
  15. I'm wondering when the alkaloid content be highest in the trunk bark of a Maiden's Wattle (or other interesting acacias?) Based on season and rain / humidity / whatever else Thanks!

    Cacti ID please!

Not a trich? How come?? any activity?
  18. Thanks planthelper, yeah i thought that may be the case (location of alkaloids), great news about the winter part though! To minimise harm to the source keeping away the base trunk bark and root bark are key i guess so hopefully concentration of alkaloids in upper branches is still usable..
