I did this once, cut a 12 month old log I remembered was in the linen closet, eventually, what I thought was rot (through a cut), were just roots forming..

Does anyone sift their potting mix?
all the time. Sift out the big barky chunks and then add sand, perlite ect. Depending on what species I am catering for.
I hate to sift and waste money but it has to be done unless buying from a landscaper for some extra mulah

Well, my Pachanoi/s are almost just a vivid bright green besides my Ecuadorian which seems to be slightly more glaucus...

Wow, I just looked at a photo of each parent separately, so this should be a very interesting grow!
Does anyone have any spare seeds they aren't planning to sow?
