Hey Got Did you ever have any luck with your search? I have only found it via special order at Bunnings -
Sorry no idea I only bought it on the 1st of this month. Will update once received. Started reading 'Stone Eaters' last night, wow it can be heavy going. Great information but a lot of new terminology to learn, seems like it is going to be a long term reference manual. Thanks again '~Michael~' for digging that out. Deleted comment re "Sourcing Scoria" and moved to the following topic: http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=37342#entry453207

No idea I can't see anything on here about it but I bought a twin pack from the UK. Normally I am an organic garden only but given how awesome this guys buttons are I am willing to follow on blind faith.

Afternoon All Managed to find three 4 rib trichocereus bridgesii off ebay yesterday. Not the nicest specimens I have seen but I have bought from this seller before and they always seem to look similar i.e. (Scarred As!). The last order I got from this vendor have all had taken off quite well so I am keen to get these babies re-potted. Will update with a nicer picture once they arrive, couldn't wait so i'll use the photo from ebay in the mean time. These will be my first 4 ribbed Trichocereus!

Sure I'd be keen

For my long term storage I use the following: In the fridge or freezer a Black 'Tight Vac' http://www.tightvac.com/ container and within that I use bags vacuum sealed from a Sunbeam FoodSaver. In the freezer I mainly put seeds still in pods or items which require nicking before use. The fridge has all my smaller and fragile seeds. For short term I use desiccant and at least three normal baggies all kept within vacuum sealed containers.

Thanks looks more detailed then I expected

thanks for that I was struggling to find it

Singapore has a similar setup in their Botanical garden (Toxic Plants section) , they also escort you and it is locked-up during off hours. I can understand this tho because all it takes is one stupid visitor to mess it up for everyone. Couldn't you imagine a silly teenager deciding to try and get a sample of Khat or Dope? Still interested to see if someone has read or viewed the book tho.

I am going to bring a necro thread back to life as I keep seeing this book on ebay. The Duchess of Northumberland's Little Book of Poisons, Potions and Aphrodisiacs. ""Apparently The Poison Garden remains one of the few places to have obtained permission from the Home Office to grow cannabis, opium poppies and catha edulis for display."" Has anyone read or seen this book, not expensive $16.50 delivered from Fishpond. Just wondering how informative/interesting it is, or if if is only useful to line the trays of my worm farm. More from a perspective of growing plants rather than creating random concoctions. Thanks again all have a nice day!

Thanks guys PMd With regards to the Trichocereus Peruvianus Crest doesn't need to be too large but something with roots and enough vigour to make it through the post. -
Clipped shade cloth to the edges of my Market Umbrella and lifted most of my pots onto the table. Yesterday some of my bridgesii and pach suffered some nasty burns from the heat and sun. Also had to bring my worm farm inside as they almost packed it in, I only realized after their pale dead bodies clogged the worm tea tap.
